It is RPM - Receivables Performance Management, a debt collector based in Lynwood Washington. They are a nasty bunch, bottom feeder debt collector. The call shows up in the caller ID as if it is a call from Temperancevi, ******ia ... but that is for deceptive purposes only. Like several other debt collectors they are using a VOIP telephone system in which they can obtain different telephone numbers from different areas of the country to make their telephone calls appear as if it is a different party/person. Don't be afraid to answer the phone, talk to them and let them know that the telephone call is going to be recorded to maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and also for TCPA (Telephone Consumer's Protection Act). Do***ent everything that they say - especially any kind of threats about sending you to jail, taking legal action a***nst you, or contacting your employer, family members and/or friends. When the telephone conversation is finishing, tell them to not contact you per telephone call a***n. If you owe money on a debt, tell them to send you the information per letter. If they do not send you the information per letter after five working days after the initial contact (telephone call), they no longer have the right to try to collect the alleged debt.I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advise ... but this is a standard recommended ****od that is recommended to stop debt collector's abuse.
