Leave a CommentThis phone number keeps calling my husband's cell phone even though all our phone numbers are on the "Do not call" registery listing. When the call comes in it is ignored. What gives them the right to call?
Called; Ignored as I always do; no message. Put on my blocked caller list.
I’m receiving calls from (760) 204-4226, at my home phone and I’ve always ignore then. From time to time they leave a message RE: credit card rates. I’ve never spoken to anyone, I’ve never returned calls. Since last week they s****ed calling my cell phone, both of my number are register on DO NOT CALL, however, that have been ignored from whatever service that might be. I’ve been forced to c****e both number in the past because of telemarketers, and I don’t want to do this a***n.
We have been getting this same call from a large variety of numbers for the past couple of years. Usually it's "Rachel" who is offering some "lower your interest rate" scam. Today they robodialed my wife's cell phone and "Rachel" has become "Heather." The calls supposedly originate from areas such as Seattle, P***nix and even the Dominican Republic. This one however is from the area code of Mammoth Lakes, California, down the southeast side of the state out to Oceanside. I think the numbers are "s****ed." That means we don't know where they're really coming from. I expect they may simply be looking for your credit card number to run up charges on it. If you have the time to complain about it, please do so. The Attorneys General of some states, such as Arkansas, have filed suits a***nst these telemarketers who are usually from south Florida. Blocking the call doesn't do any good because they have so many numbers that caller ID can't screen them all.

BEWARE! It s****ed with what it sounds like a "professional" legitimate recording, telling you that they can help you lower your credit card rates. Very promptly, someone with an accent answered the phone. He didn't even told me what bank was he representing, until I asked; his answer: "Bank of America, Citibank and Capital One". As soon as I said no thank you, he ****ed up. It seems they wanted to get my info... like that was going to happen!
Now on my reject list, Thanks.
