A woman caller asked to speak with someone I knew but who no longer lives in this area. I told her my number was not and never has been a contact number for that person.

This number is a debt collector. They violated federal law by calling my home number with a prerecorded message that revealed they were trying to collect a debt from someone whom they named but who is neither me nor a resident at my address.

Would not give information about their supposed "legal organization" and kept asking for a person who doesn't exist.
