I received a call from this number on a government installation and when I pressed 1 to inform them that the number they are calling is a government installation and we wish for the calls to stop, the man on the other en said "We'll think about it!" and ***g up. This should be illegal and no one should be allowed to be told they can not have their number placed on the do not call list.

It was an automated message from "Cardmember Services" saying that it could get me a lower interested rate on my credit cards.

This number called me at 7:45 PM.  It was an automated message from "Cardmember Services" saying that it could get me a lower interested rate on my credit cards.  It said to dial 1 to speak to a representative, so I did.  He couldn't tell me which credit card he was calling with ("we represent over x ***dred banks and credit companies") and refused to add me to his company's no-call list (he said, "that's not how we do business").  He also refused to let me speak to a manager (this time, he just said "no.").
