I kept having the same problems... when I called the number back right after they called me it says that it was a disconnected phone number.

It is a number of a telemarketing firm. They call for Verizon, Time Warner, ******, AT&T, and a number of others. I personally got calls from them representing themselves as from Time Warner, and they had valid information which I never gave out to anyone but my cable service provider, so I KNOW its a telemarketing firm, working in contract to many telecomm groups in the US. I suggest that you all answer these calls immediately, tell the representative that we know they are telemarketers in disguise, and to tell them to tell whatever company they are calling for to shove it up their collective a**es. If I will accept ANY sort of promotions, upgrades or whatever, to my service, it will be thru a number that reflects my area code, from a person that speaks my dialect, not some california minimum wage trailer trash or some hindi b***h who's verbal tone and at***ude is as of one speaking to an *untouchable* (read up on India's caste system).

i have verizon and they called. i didnt answer but called back and got an answering ma****e. didnt sound like a verizon company ma****e.

clames to be verizon, is actually a telemarketing company...they have called my cell twice and when I call back it says it's disconnected
