Montery financial. No voice Mail.

Montery Financial/Collection Services is an independent debt collection agency. They have called me regularly for a couple years now trying to collect on a debt for a vacuum cleaner. I have never purchased a vacuum cleaner in my life, or heard of the company they were calling on behalf of. I had told them over the phone and by registered letter on several occasions they had the wrong person. I have no collection accounts, no debits, nothing they should be calling me about so I blocked their number and filed a complaint with the FCC. The calls stopped eventually. But when I checked my credit report recently I found they had reported a bad debt on my credit report! Of course, I had it removed immediately and now they've s****ed calling me a***n. I blocked the number a***n. I don't know what else to do other than to hire a lawyer (at additional expense) to file a cease and desist order, but I doubt that would even stop them.

Go online and find out what numbers belong to MCS or Monterey, then block them from you home and cell..not sure about work.. By law they can't disturb you at work once you tell them to stop.. They are a pain and that is their job to harass you til you pay them what they want, regardless if you owe them or not. They bought this debt from a company for pennies to the dollar and whatever they collect is profit... Good Luc****

They call every day - sometimes more than once. What a pain!

They call to collect monies owed from 7 years ago on a product never purchased on Mastercards i never owed and they were trying to say i bought tow within two months of each other. They said they would erase of my account but so****ing is not right when they lie about buying these Shark Euro Pro items in the first place!!!

Okay... I'm getting the same message as Lynn, No name or anything else. Just "this is a call from MCS recarding an important matter." Then a number. Plays the message twice threw. This is the 4th time in the past 2 weeks. If this is Monterey Financ (Monterey Collections) I wouldn't be supprised if they're still trying to collect on me BCTI bill. They are calling every day and asked to press 1 to talk to a represen***ive. Pressed 1, waited for about 5 minutes, a lady came on asking for some one we don't even know. I asked her to stop calling us or we will report they for herrastment but she said she will call us every day if I don't tell her who. My caller ID says "Monterey Financ".

I kept getting a call after hours on my work phone. A message is left to call 877.775.0391,  the company name given was MC,  regarding an important matter. I called once and got a voice mail.  Who are these people?

They call repeatedly on my home phone and cell - only a recorded voice - tried once to get to a human to get them to stop calling - was on hold for 20 minutes. - now can i make them stop?  I don't know this company.
