One of many names, but "Ben Steele" called saying I have gotten myself into legal issues and I need to call them back. First time I did call them back. Only to hear them say I borrowed money from a company that pays out Payday loans. I have never done anything like that, so I found that pretty interesting. They continue to tell me I can either fly across the country to  CA and fight my case in court with the court day to be within 48 hrs or I can pay them the $350 owed right now plus fees. If I fail to pay or show up for court police would show up to my work with a warrant for my arrest, and take me to California to go to jail. LOL!!!!!!!! Uh and you say you practice law, or at least calling on the behalf of a lawfirm? OK, so do you know that debt is not illegal, (unless gov tax related) debt collectors would not have a job if this was so. Bankruptcy wouldnt exist and what company is going to go to the extent of court fees, or flying me across the country over 350 bucks. The sad thing is they obviously get away with it to some extent or they wouldnt keep trying. Please do not fall for this. Report it as I did, to my local athorities as well as the FBI fraud dept.

I've s****ed to received calls from this number as well. I've spoken with a Ben Steele, Jerry Jones, and Andrew Johnson from there. Uh huh.. :)What a scam! I explained I will only be communicating with them via certified US mail, therefore I need there physical mailing address. They would not give it to me and promptly ***g up the phone.

Got a call from this number saying his name was "Officer Jerry Jones"(sure) Threating me with legal action. My Husband as been getting this same call for a few months and they call from about four different numbers and gave several different names.

Have received several calls from same person "Chris Hamm" threatening me with legal action a***nst SSN and Drivers License.  This is a scam and when call number back it goes to a messaging system.  Have been getting calls from various thick accented Indian people for several months and they always have the same script they are reading from.  Have filed police report, and complaint with Federal Trade Commission.,E

a heavily accented man, "Chris Hamm" (right) is threatening me with immediate legal action if I don't call them back.  Says he has my SSN and DL number.  and wished me good luck.  some sort of scam as I have no idea what they want besides my money.
