Just got a call from this number telling me my number is under investigation they are asking for the person who had the number prior to me these people are so, so, so very rude. What can we do to stop this kind of harassment?  Guess what else I call my Lawyer he called and got a voicemail saying the Magic Jack Customer @ 760666 7043 is unavailable to take his call and sorry voicemail box is full. Then they called me back to say I will not receive anymore calls from this department yelling and making all kinds of ridiculous noises.

I received a message and tried calling this number back. I asked my husband to call the number back and they wouldn't give him any information other than it was a law suit a***nst me due to a payday loan and they were going to contact my employer to garnish my wages. I haven't taken any payday loand, so I called the number to find out more information and  when I did I received this message, "I'm sorry the magic jack customer you are trying to reach is not available." Really? I don't think any ligitimate business, big or small would use magic jack! So I googled the number and came across all these complaints. I had a feeling it was some kind of SCAM!!!

Called me its amazing how this company is still up and running. Threatening to **** me whole family. State needs to do so****ing about these guys.

I have  just recieved the same kind of call on my job. the caller said his name was Paul Adams. I stated that the person he was calling for was no longer employed with the company. THIS IS A SCAM I am sure of that.

On 2/2/11 I received the first threatening call from someone called Marcus Smith. When I asked him to identify the company he was calling from he stated the Department of Law & Investigation. He stated that a sheriff would be delivering me a summons for the three charges of Collateral check fraud, Theft by deception, and Electronic funds transfer fraud. He stated that the I had taken a $2000 payday advance from Cashnet. He gave me a case file #, and stated two reference names that I had allegedly given which were people I had never heard of. I asked Marcus to give me the account # that this supposed check was deposited into and then called my bank to find that the account # did not even exist. Number 1 - I have never taken out a payday advance loan online, Number 2- Marcus stated that the loan amount was $2000. I am on a fixed income and would never even be offered that much money. When I looked up the Department of Law & Investigation there was an abundance of complaints from people stating the same thing that I had experienced. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!! On 2/18/11 I received a similar call on my cell phone. The message left was very threatening from someone named Paul Smith. He was making similar accusations, but when I asked what company he was calling from he would not give me the name. I tried to call the phone number from my landline 760-666-7043 and a recording came on stating that the call was being routed as a local call but should be a long distance call and in order to get the phone number to go through I needed to call another phone number and put in the above referenced phone number or phone my local carrier. When I phoned my local carrier they googled the phone number and was told not to even respond to the call because it was a SCAM!! I then googled the number and found the same type of scam was being reported as the first scam that I had encountered. Unfortunately these people had my social security number, address, as well as my name. Someone needs to put a stop to this type of verbal phone abuse.

I have been getting the same calls from someone who sounds like they're India, claiming that they represent a law firm and when I asked to talk to supervisor, put me in hold and then the same person got back on saying he was the supervisor! They claimed I had taken out a payday loan and have refused to pay it back. I have paid back all my payday loans so obviously this is a scam. I am to report this to the Better Business Bureau and maybe the Attorney General's Office. Would suggest anyone experiencing these calls do the same.

RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER,SAYS HE IS JAMES CARLSON,CAN HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIM DUE TO HIS ACCENT SPANISH,HE SAYS HIS COMPANY IS GOING TO SUE ME,WONT TELL ME WHAT THIS IS ABOUT,OR ANY INFORMATION,KEEPS REPEATING MY NAME AND SOCIAL,THREATING TO CALL MY EMLPOYER,I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM HIM ABOUT 6 MOS AGO,HE CALLED ME A ******* ON THE PHONE,I AM A FEMALE,HE DIDN'T EVEN CALL MY BY MY GENDER NAME B***H,I TOLD HIM HE WAS A FRAUD AND I WAS GOING TO SUE HIM,HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO SUE ME,HAVENT HEARD FORM HIM UNITL TODAY 2.10 2011,HE IS CRAZY,SAYS HE IS FROM A LAW FIRM REPRESENT,WIIL NOT GIVE A NAME.I DID A REVERSE PHONE NUMBER AND FOUND OUT THE PHONE HE IS USING IS A LANDLINE,FROM VISTA,CALIFORNIA,SAYS ADDRESS IS MCI WORLDCOM COMMUNICATIONS,NOT A LAWYERS OFFICE

Its a scam.  They get your info if you have taken out a check cash loan on line.  They then proceed to say you failed to pay it back and attempt to collect money from you.  I dont know how to stop the calls?

Rude, Rude, Rude, and insulting! They called our school asking for a staff member. When told we don't disturb classroom staff during the school day, the caller called our admin****istant "a ****** girl" and then told her to "Go F*** yourself!". He then called a***n and a***n and a***n and was equally rude each time.
