This day, 3 December 2014 at 1*** hours I received another telephone call from 760-730-6013. I a***n answered and talked briefly with an individual who claimed to be****ociated with a company called BRD claiming to be an affiliation program of Amazon. I related that I would answer no questions on the telephone and requested he mail me literature explaining the business venture and after reading and studying same, I would call and give my opinion. In reply to the question would you be willing to invest a few ***dred dollars today to have a website developed so you could begin making an excellent salary? I answered not at this time. He claimed they could not mail out literature, but requested I listen to a short recording, to which I agreed. The recording began a sales pitch, which was interrupted by an individual identifying herself as Christian Jones. She claimed to be my****ociate****istant and began asking questions. I explained I was retired and doing research so I can write a book. She began to ask questions, to which I declined informing her my former employment made me a skeptic and as the caller ID showed the call coming from a Nicole Peterson, and not BRD I was hesitant to continue. She claimed Nicole Peterson was an owner of the BRD Company and she paid the telephone bill, but it should show the call coming from BRD and not Ms. Peterson, claiming she would inform the proper person so this oversight could be corrected. She inquired from what position I was retired and I answered I spent 32 years as a Special Agent Criminal Investigator with the Internal Revenue Service with the last 15 years being involved in money laundering and drug cases. The telephone line went dead, and I can only****ume my work experience was not attractive to them.
I do not know this person, or her alias Nicole Strand. I answered the telephone this day, and the caller ***g up. I do not know if she be a spammer or not.
