Called and left a msg that if we did not retain an attorney they would not be responsible for what happened.  Called the number and they told me they were attorneys.  did not leave my name.  Reporting this to local and state authorities.  Suggest anyone receiving calls from this company report them to thier authorities.

Got the same call today at work. I advised them never to call my work a***n and he proceeded to yell at me. I then proceeded to tell him if he wanted to talk to me he would need to learn my language and got mad and ***g up on me. How do I get them to stop calling my work?

I've got the same phone call as everybody else.  I told them to stop calling my job and my cell and if it was true were was my paperwork on it and until then don't bother me a***n. And the guy got mad and ***g up after I said I was going to report them for harassment, so yes I think its a big scam.

After calling back to try and get more info from these people I found out they knew my soc sec #, address, were I work, and my phone # and email address.  I urge everyone receiving these calls to report it to the locol authority and give us much info as possible.

Same as above posts.  Indian accent, says I owe for a payday loan.  I actually did owe a Payday loan but had only ever used Ameriloan.  I called Ameriloan and they said complete scam and do not pay them.  Even got me a deal on what I owe them.  After calling back and trying to explain I paid ameriloan I was told I was going to be arrested tomorrow morning and they were from the California State Attorney's office.

same here... some guy calling from the attorneys office in california, told me i was going to jail if i do not pay back this supposed payday loan. called my  cell and my work. I played with them for a bit predending to be concerned with my so called debt. He wanted my to write and fax an apolgy letter, and authorize them to make payments out of my bank account. when i said that i didnt have a bank account or a credit card and requested an address he got mad and yelled that i should go to walmart and buy a prepaid card. I said i could do that, or i could mail a payment. He then got beligerent, and told me that i would be going to jail. what scammers

You owe and you do not have an attorney. Oh my, would you pay 800.00 or 8500.
