I commented a minute ago. But I’m curious to who gave and how these spam texts got my correct name and phone number? Anyone have an idea? It’s obviously the same source because I have gotten the FedEx text as well. And I would bet y’all have seen the one I just commented.

It came as a text message stating that I need to follow a link in order to claim my package to verify where it supposed to be delivered. The text read as follows: Hello Darla, your FEDEX package with tracking code GB-***2-GH83 is waiting for you to set delivery preferences: c6dsc.info/ZVnyDMgwS0v I’ve blocked the number. As I know Fedex does not do this.

If you see this text, do not click the link within the text. I don't know exactly what the link does, but if you clicked it, then clean your phone, scan for viruses, and c****e your passwords. Hopefully, you didn't store any passwords on your phone. Good luck.

The scammer even said my true name. How it got it, I honestly do not know since it is private. As mentioned above, it is definitely the same message as everyone wrote above. Stay away, do not open the link and definitely delete the message please.

Got the same text from 831-620-9386 but with 'Hello mate' at the beginning. that b7cne domain is registered in Hong Kong.

Fake text message saying you have a package waiting but need to give delivery instructions. Every example here (and the one I got) all have the same alleged "tracking number."
