Got a text saying "Hello Megan" but no response when I asked who it was...

hello Susan!!! - got the text on Monday 11/12/12 @ 1:39pm I have old friends/acquaintances in that area, so I was intrigued, but was on a job at the time so didn't respond. Thought I'd do a reverse look up & found this. Very interesting. I don't even have a yahoo account, and I don't use IM on any site. Strange how this person is getting our numbers and names. Gah, don't like this!!

Text saying "hola, AbbyRose??" Replied asking who it was. Never received a response.

Got a text saying Hey Ebony. When I text saying how is this they never replyed

Calls u by name and says to friend on yahoo messenger to find out who it is.

Got a text from a number wanting me to add txtiegirlie68 on Y! Messenger. Text seems to have come from a California landline in a national Park, and telling from what everyone else has said, i can't really imagine it being genuine.

got so****ing similar from 1-(424)-571-6144. Basically told me to add them on yahoo messager to find out who it was. Screen name was textiegirly31 Clearly spam

Got this message and got the same response when I asked who it was. Different number, 4439389739 somewhere near Baltimore Maryland. I am in California.

text message said: "hello Lisa you there?? Have not heard from u in a while." I didn't recognize, so looked up the number and was able to find it coming from a cell tower in Joshua Tree Nat'l park near San Bernardino, CA. When i saw "mark" had the same text on the same day, it makes me su****ious. Probably more unwanted texts from an unknown source to come if I reply "yes- who is this?" I am deleting and blocking this number. If I know you, then "sorry!" :)
