Don't ever call these idiots back or acknowledge their calls in any way (ex: press 1 to remove from list, etc.) as they will put your number on an "active number" list and you will actually get MORE calls from other scammers. Check out the November 2015 issue of Consumer Reports for more information on protecting yourself and the February 2016 issue of the same magazine for info on scams similar this.

I get the call every day at the same time. They say they can lower our credit card rates. We don't have any credit cards. They do not leave an opt out number to press. It's very annoying getting the call every single day between 11:00 a.m. and noon.

Got a call from this number too. Didn't answer and they didnt leave a msg. Read up here so now they are blocked!! Thank you!!

Got a call on 1/28/16 2:45pm to my phone at work. This number and similiar ones with same recorded message call often. I usually **** up. Waited this time to speak to someone. When they answered I said PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST, PLEASE...and he mumbled so****ing and ***g up. A**holes.

Blame it on your politicians. They get paid from their supporters not to create laws to stop this type of activities, so we all pay the price. Politicians represent they're own pockets first, then they may consider the people they represent. The moment we s**** kicking the bad politicians out of office will be the time we get justice

Yes, they called. Suspected a spammer so did not answer. Our nation needs to take action on these type calls. The public has no successful recourse. It is a shame that people's private lives are ****arded by this which is illegal (meaning although listed on no call list and reporting to FCC, stil nothing happens to penalize or STOP the calling.

They left a message saying I could lower my interest rate to 1%. Didn't specify on what account. But, they wanted me to hit '1' to speak to a person. The offer was expiring, so this would be my last chance. Yeah right! Definite spammer!

I got a call and the ID says Verizon Wireless...just got three new phones on my account so it may be follow up...but they have left no messages.

They tired to get credit card info and you could tell the it was someone holding a phone to a speaker for a recording.

I was told it was urgent that I get in touch with blah blah department. I am so sick and tired of these telemarketers cal my # which has been registered on the DNC registry for years. How does one stop these people!!!
