i JUST GOT CALLED BY THIS NUMBER ITS A SCAM.
got a call from this strange number, didnt answer but a recorded message was left to call back or visit the website for parttime and fulltime work at home positions. a caller company didnt show up it was on my cell but the website was ispcards.com/123
I received a call Dec.2,2008 from a Julie in HR at First Financial USA. The voice mail message said that they saw my resume online and had a home business training opportunity full or part-time. They wanted me to check out their website at IPScards.com/123 and then set up a conference call with them. After reading all of these comments I guess we all can say "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is"! If you are like me, a good job opportunity is usually worth pursueing. Maybe we will be able to put a stop to this sort of scam. Thanks for the comments!
This person called me twice in a half hour and left this message about a job opportunity.
I got a call this morning, but didn't pick up. They left a message. It was FFUSA. Got an e-mail from them as well.
I did some research and found this on the company and the BBB does not have anything on these folks that is good as well.First Financial USA (FFUSA) is a merchant services provider. They provide the financial services as well as the hardware for businesses who take credit cards. FFUSA looks at resumes posted online from monster.com or careerbuilders.com, etc. and contacts jobseekers by e-mail. FFUSA looks for people who know nothing about this industry. They promise that if you find merchants willing to use their credit card services that a sales agent will be paid a bonus plus ongoing residual income, 20% of the profit, for as long as the merchant uses FFUSA's service. They really emphasize the residual income as bonuses are both small and if the business is new or never took credit cards before then you don't get any bonus at all.The scam here is that FFUSA will only provide residuals for 6 months or so then they stop, despite their promises. Additionally, they never explain how the residuals are calculated, they just say 'trust us.' The vice-president of the company, Chuck Fowler, ***gged to me about how he makes $250,000 yearly. No wonder. FFUSA gets a lot of people to make a few sales, pays them a pittance for a bonus, then they keep all the residuals after a few months. At least twice a week FFUSA has telephone recruiting sessions where people are promised all this money with ongoing income from the sale. They constantly recruit new agents because the old agents figure out they aren't making much money. People like Fowler get rich off the residuals the sales agents were promised but no longer get paid for. What I discovered was they charge merchants $800 - $1600 for terminals that can be purchased retail for $200 - $400. The standard industry residual split is 50/50 not the 80/20 FFUSA provides before they cut you off entirely.DocboxWaldwick, New JerseyU.S.A.

I got this call after receiving an email in my junk mail box, which I have not opened. Aftr seeing the above comments, I'm not sure what to think. The voice message said to view their website for work from home opportunities.
I,too, recieved a call from 763-231-9661. It looks like another work from home scam.
I too received a call on Nov 7, 2008 from a Julie in HR at First Financial USA. The voice mail message said that they say my resume online and had a home business training opportunity full or part-time. They wanted me to check out their website at IPScards.com/123 and then set up a conference call with them. This just sounded too fishy and did not call. It is a shame a company has to do these things to hurt others.
I got the call and I'm dissapointed that momster does not screen****ential employers more carefully before allowing them to view employees. I mean if you dont put your phone # then no job can call you back, but if you do, you get the creeps like this and many other ones! Same website that leads to this http://www.ipscard.com/step1.php?ref=123 yeah right!
SAME OLD STORY. AS THE OTHERS. SOUNDS LIKE A VERY IMPERSONAL CALL WITH A FRAUDULENT RECORDING ATTACHED. SAME NUMBER AS LISTED ABOVE.
Rec'd call 10/29 @ 11:55a. Was not home to answer. The message left told me that they was Julia with the HR dept for First Financial USA and she saw my resume online and they felt I had the background to work for them from home and directed me to go to ipscard.com/123 to see company info and to set up an interview with their corporate office.
If it looks like a scam and sounds like a scam it probably is a scam. Just got the same call on my personal mobile number (FCC complaint filed). Received a spam e-mail from the same company earlier today.
They Called and left message. I am not calling back. These scam artist get the contact info on Monster. Monster should not allow scam artist to get such information
Received a phone call today, October 16, 2008 from 763-231-9661 on my cell phone. No one answered. I called the # back (not from my cell phone) and it rung to a fax ma****e. No doubt, they got my number from my Monster profile.
They also got my number from Monster and called this morning. It is a company called First Financial USA - "FFUSA, a Merchant Services credit card processing company." The actual adsdress they leave on the message is www.ipscard.com/123 which c****es to www.ipscard.com/step1.php?ref=123 when you go there.
Got a call from this one too. I got only part of the address, but the one they left me on my voicemail was pscard.com/123. It's a dead link. The number sounds more like a fax number. I'd rule this one as a scam.
It is bad enough to be out of work but to receive a call such a these is BS
They got my number from Monster and called this morning. I didn't answer, but they did leave a message about work at home opportunities. I will not be calling back as I'm sure it's a scam.
