They are Sallie Mae's debt collecting strong arm. They 8 - 15 times a day regardless of how many times you've talked to them. They ARE breaking the law to call a***n even if all you do is answer , say*****o, and **** up per my lawyer.

Constanly calls morning, afternoon, and evening during the week and weekends. Calls come as late as 8 p.m. Enough already!!

These people call 6-10 times daily on my home and cell phones, at all hours, NEVER leave a message. I refuse to answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. i want these call to stop now.

When I answered the phone there was no response, so I dialed back the number (765-283-3253) and there was a pick-up, robot voice saying "Sallie May" -- then a young man asking if I were _____ (mispronounced my name) and I corrected him by giving the correct*****unciation. He then said "Just a minute, I need to transfer you to the right office" -- then a lot of fuzzy sound; I waited a few minutes and ***g up. Does anyone know whether they are officially calling on behalf of Sallie May?

wnat calls to stop? they won't... I get this everyday and evening, I answer, a messages says to hold. yea right. doesn't pay to have a land line any more.

I receive 10-15 calls per day from these people. They don't leave messages, they just keep calling as early as 7:30am and as late as 9 pm. I'm ready to c****e my phone number.

Correction to previous post. MCC told me that I'm not listed as a responsible party on my student loan.

I got another call from MCC (Muncie Calling Center) and the nice young lady told me that they were trying to reach my grandmother (she said her name). She said I was listed as a responsible party on my student loan. Apparently even though I'm currently not responsible to pay back my Sallie Mae my grandmother as a cosigner on the private loan is? I think I'm going to have to contact my attorney and check into this.

This is not Sallie Mae. I have called Sallie Mae and Sallie Mae had no idea who that was. I did not have to pay anything on my student loans yet the MCC number was asking me to. Beware of these people.

calls from both numbers several times a day. we have had no business with sallie mae so we never answered. when the number c****ed and ncc was in the caller id my husband wondered if it was also sallie mae, do to the number of times called. I found it here on a web search. this is ridiculous! it needs to stop!

Sallie Mae eats you alive...! They provided these private loans that have a ridiculous rate of 40-50% interest.Stay away. Find schools that only offer government loans. They actually pay the schools to issue out privateloans. A big scam. Find out about your school.

They call several times a day, all week long. they don't leave a message as to why they call continuously, nor what the calls are about and when answering they **** up.

THis number keeps calling and sometimes use an 866 number when i complained but still the same "Sally Mae" and continued to call daily, up to several times a day from 8AM to 8PM for years. This needs to stop as it is costing money in cellphone bill!

these guys call me everyday s****ing at 5:30am. usually by the time I wake up I have at least 5 missed calls from them (I turn my ringer off at night just because of them).  If I tell them to put me on the do not call list they just **** up.  if you call back its busy, and they never leave messages

A***n, this number is calling us, under a different Salli Mae number. They always **** up after the phone is picked up. 4 times a day, under a variety of numbers and names similar to this Salli Mae......still I don't think it's Sallie Mae (correct spelling). These people need to stop calling my son on his cell phone!

This number calls multiple times a day, but never leaves a message. I want to know why. I have received other calls from Salli Mae and they leave messages, why does this specific number just keep calling and note leave a message? I just talked to someone from Salli Mae last week, so why are they calling a***n? I felt Sarah from Salli Mae was a "fake" it just didn't sit right with me. I REALLY wish they would stop calling me!

These people keep calling my cell from various numbers asking for a person never heard in my life, I called back asked them to stop calling and remove my # from their list or I would file a complaint to officials, and they told me already removed my # but still call me daily.

These people called my cell like 5 times already since yes****ay. I'll answer and then i'll hear blub blub blub blub blub on the other end and I'll say*****o a***n and who is this and they'll **** up on me.

This company calls at least 6 times a day they will not give us any information as to what it is about, until we give the our information.  SS# home address to verify who we are.  If they are calling us they should have to verify who they are, and they should already have this. We had some one get into our checking account once and We are not giving any information to a voice on the phone.

The caller was very rude and when we informed them that the person they were looking for did not live at the address and that the family was not involved with Sallie Mae he claimed the calls will continue anyway.

When I answer, without saying a word on purpose, it's just dead air.  Nothing is said then it says (five hours later, it seems) to wait for the next available rep, and I don't bother with that.  Nothing is left on the answering ma****e.  I don't know why they're calling.  I do have an account from Sallie Mae for my college loans, which are almost paid off; but I don't nkow if it is them or not, and I don't waste my time to find out.  Everything's paid up, and I have no idea why they're calling.  We get several calls a day, and my mom's about to file harassment charges a***ns them.  I refuse to give my SS# on the phone.  Why ask when they already have that?  They ought to be on the Do Not Call list!

A caller from this number calls, does not leave message, or indicate who they are or who they represent. The calls are occuring late at night, in the evening, throughout the business day, early in the morning and on weekends. When the phone is answered a recording instructs me to wait for the next available representative.

These folks call several times a day, asking for someone who does not live here.   I told them that and they asked me if I was a relative of this person.   I told them it was none of their business and to stop calling this number.   The idiot on the other end said he was going to continue to call me every day until they talked to the person they are looking for and ***g up on me.    I am going to report them to the BBB.

I just got off the phone with Sallie Mae about 20 minutes ago, and then this number called me. Although I have everything cleared up with them they keep calling and telling me I am delinquent on my loans when in fact they are the ones that continue to ***** up my account. This number never leaves a message and I was actually surprised this time when someone was on the line when I answered.

These people keep calling and asking for someone who does not reside at this number.  They will not give me any information as to who they are but continue calling even after I have told them this person they are looking for is not at this number.

They continue to call me but never leave a message or answer when I pick up the phone.

They can call all day if they want. I have caller ID and will never pickup. If they want to waste their money to pay ppl to call me all day, oh well! Losers!
