Received a telphone call from this number at 9:42 p.m. My wife and I both pick up the phone at the same time.  A male on the other end of the line asked for my wife and she identified herself.  He then asked her to verify the last four digits of her SSN.  She stated that she doesn't give that information to someone she doesn't know and asked who was calling.  The individual then stated that it was a private business matter and that they would just keep calling back.  She a***n asked for the individuals name and the person ***g up.

that reference to ARS probably nails it. Look up 401-213-3328

Got an actual human being...BARELY.  Asked for me by name then when I questioned this individual he was very evasive.  Stated that he represents "ARS" would wouldn't go into details until I confirmed more information.

Recieved a call from above number.  They asked for someone who did not live here...then said they where an operator and that they had a collect call...would I please accept?  I then asked for a name at which point they ***g up.  When I tried to call back - I received a recorded message saying the number was not in service.  I called my local phone company.  They ran a check on the number and said they had nothing listed in their directory - in this area code - and said most likely it was a cell phone.  I was then told to call my attorney generals office and report the number.  I did that and was told that unfortunately even though it is a reported number they would still have a difficult time trying to pursue anything beyond that.  They suspect from the cir***stances...that it is most likely fraud - that they have information on someone at the residence and are calling to obtain more.  They also said that scams that involve iden***y theft and such are s****ed each day and that it is as simple as c****ing their cell phone number to continue their efforts.  BEWARE...never give any information to anyone on the phone. They called back several hours later... I told them that I reported them to the attorney generals office .... I have not heard from them since.

Called and since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer.  Left no message.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF SCAM THEY ARE RUNNING FROM THIS NUMBER...  ODDLY ENOUGH MY NAME IS NIKKI AND THEY ASKED FOR NICOLE.

they called me tonight asking for a girl named nikki, when I said they have the wrong number, he asked for me, and said this girl I had never heard of used me for a reference...weird. wonder if they were fishing to see if this was my number.

Who is calling me from 765-551-4154 on my cell phone and not leaving a message?
