I want to know who had this number before me.  I need it to go back quite a few years.  Turns out, a company called my looking for my stepmother whom I haven't spoken to for 7 years.  They told me that my number was listed as a contact number for her back in 1998.  I just got this number a year ago.  Not even that, but the phone is listed in my husband's last name not mine.  If it was my name, I'd understand a bit as my stepmother and I (unfortunately) share a last name.  But it's not.  So I'm completely baffled as the odds of me getting a number she listed as a reference 14 years ago is astronomical.  There are well over 100,000 residents in our city.  It's crazy and I really want to see who had this number that she put down as a reference since it was not intended for me to be that reference.
