They called to warn me there was a case filed a***nst my social. They gave me a due date to apply for the ADR payment arrangements and avoid paying all the court fees. The gentlemen didn't provide his last name to me anymore. After a due date he will file the case with my local Dist Attorneys office and threatened to expedite the matter. I asked for an address, they provided a non existing address and a website that doesn't match the information he gave me. I called the company on the website and they do not have any record of me in their system. I called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau number at 855-411-2372 to file a complaint a***nst the company claiming to be a law firm. They have not sent me anything through the mail because they have old information so after the call, I also called the main source where I have my debt, and they have all my updated information. Very strange complete scam. I called the Atlanta police dept. (the area code is coming from that city) and my local police dept.

Called back to see if they would answer with the name of a company, the man answered wouldn't give me the name of the company are his name. Wouldn't tell me what the call was about. The messages they leave never say who they are calling for or what it concerns other than it's a legal action.

They claim to be a fraud in investigator but will not provide you any information to the legal matter in which they are trying to collect payment for. They are trying to scam you by scaring you. They hope you will simply pay to "avoid" the legal action that they will never specify. They say they will forward the information to your local district attorney yet they do not know where you are to forward it. Do NOT fall for their scam!
