Do NOT send money to Meghann Williams, she is NOT an attorney or even a legal****istant.  It is a collection firm and they will take your money but not do anything about the ding on your credit report.

Got a call claiming there was a civil complaint a***nst my husband and that he needed to call back immediately.  Once he called, they asked him what his SSN & address was.  When he refused, they gave him an incorrect # and address. I googled and found this site.  Just thought I would share

I got a call from Micheal Mcleod about a debt that I owed.I gave him my acct info twice and  lucky he couldn`t get the money then I got a call Sa****ay morning to send it western union to Meghann Williams.I googled the # once I found out that it was a fraud I c****ed bank acct#`s the next day.Don`t send them any money.

be careful of a scam from an "Officer Steven Wilzak" from a Special Crimes Unit representing a legal firm for Quick Cash Payday Loan.  He said if I didn't pay the amount requested by 5 p.m. yes****ay they would issue a warrant for my arrest!  I sent the money to a Meghann Williams in Buffalo, NY.  I have since Googled these people and noticed they are frauds, so be aware of this new scam.   The phone number he called from was 770-783-1107.

I recd a call from michael j mccloud, i called him back at the number listed on my caller id, he didnt even leave a number when i called him back he told i was involved in a civil suit with Cheyenne Bank and I asked for dates and amount he couldnt give anything just kept stating that it was being filed in my state told him fine see you in court

i too received a call from a mcloud person leaving a threating message on my answering ma****e. when i contacted him, he stated i owed a bill for $390 andstated i could pay with my bank card. when i told him i didnt feel comfortable give that info on the phone, he then said i could send it to a meghann williams in buffalo by western union. i ask him for the phone # from the company that he said i owed the money to. he did not have the phone# . i then asked to speak with a supervisor. this man was very persistant and pretty much stated for me to have dogs put away and any firearms .hmmmm .that does not sound like a pofessional person/call. if i owe , i will pay.. i do not like people trying to imtimidate me and i am follow up !

My ***her received a call last night from (770) 783-1963 (no name was given). The man called advised me ***her that he had spoken to me and that I had set up payment arrangements with this company. He also stated that there was a warrant for my arrest. I never spoke to any person at this number and when my ***her asked for a name and number for this company, the man never gave this info (I retrieved the number from caller id#). I am also familiar with the Bad Debt Collections Act and I know that you cannot make idle threats that you do not intend to carry out, nor can you falsely represent. I have no idea who this company is and I KNOW that I have no warrants. I will also be filing a report with that Georgia's Office of Consumer Fraud and the Attorney Generals office.

michael j mccloud called me and stated he was from the special crimes unit and that it was regarding a warrant of my arrest.i am a correction officer so i investigated by calling 770 555-1212 thats information for all states.this agency is a fraud and they try to intimidate you.notify your local law enforcement agency and get these people charged for fraud.

My husband and I got this same call on Feb.6th in the morning. The caller stated," That my husband had a U.S. Fidelis Credit Card back in the year of 1998 and he has to call the investigator Mr.Micheal Crown by 12pm on Feb.10th or else he will be arrested). We left a urgent message for Mr. Crown to call us back immediately, but so far no one has called us back. Atlanta Police department notified of the scam as well and is aware of this issue. My in-laws got the same call on Feb.6th in the afternoon the caller was talking about he was going to get arrested for not paying his over due alarm bill. The call back number that we were given is 1-770-783-1963 Micheal Crown Special Investigations Unit. When we called the number all we got was the voice mail. We are going to report this to the FBI and get a lawyer on it. It is a shame that this Micheal person have the time to play games and to try to scam.

I got a call from this number on Feb 6th 2009, concerneing an warrent for my sons arrest in Georgia as well as a possibility of a civil suit a***nst him, however when i contacted the Atlanta Police Dept. they verified there was NOT a warrent for my sons arrest. They stated that they have had numerous complaints about this fraud yet they couldn't find out any info as to the where-abouts of this scam. The only information we have are the phone numbers, which are 1-770-783-1756 and 1-770-783-1963 and the name "Villarica, GA" showed up on our caller ID. The call goes straight to a voice mail which states that the number is to a "special investigator" by the name of "Michael Crown" the other number, however, the name of the "special investigator" is inaudible. I left 3 urgent messages, due to the statement that i had 24 to 48 hours until my son would be arrested, yet they never contacted me back.This was the number they gave me to call back, 1-770-783-1963
