Keep getting calls from different numbers asking for the same person...not me or anyone who lives with me telling me they have a warrant for check fraud. Since this has been going on for months (off and on) and as soon as we search the number it shows that they are a debt/fraud/loser company...we just never call them back. Funny thing, they never call when we're home from work in the evening.

This company is out of control.  They are an "investigation" company for debt collection.  The "warrant" is not a legally-binding, criminal warrant.  They are work for a collection company that seems to work exclusively with Payday Loan companies.  The woman was beligerant, insistant, accusing me of "Check Fraud", claiming I have several similar past criminal actions...until she realized I was NOT the person she thought I was and she had the wrong person.  I suggested that she get better at her job of "investigating" and MAKE SURE she knows who she's talking to before accusing them of criminal activity.  Their tactics are intimidating, illegal, and the Fair Credit

Do NOT let these people intimidate you!!!!  They will call and tell you they are an investigator, that they are going to file an arrest warrant etc....let me guarantee you this is NOT REAL.  First of all, I did return the call and she never responded....when she FINALLY did she claimed to have SPOKEN to me....uh, WRONG because I would have told her to take a flying leap.  If you owe money, they cannot get an arrest warrant....they CAN take a person to court for a judgment, but rarely do.  They will call your family and scare the***** out of them.  I suggest you call the local police dept.and report them....tell them they are impersonating a police officer and give them the number.  Also tell them you want IN WRITING the PROOF OF ANY DEBT which they are REQUIRED to provide upon your request!!!  Dont let them scare you!!!  Just another collection agency trying tactics that are illegal and ******!!!

She calls herself an investigator saying there is a warrant for your arrest. Stating that they are not a collection agency...but the police dept! talk about a scam!!!!

A relative contacted me to advise me she received a call from this number stating they had a warrant for me. I call the number & they referenced an alledged debt from 2004. I asked them to email me information or provide me with information showing I owe this debt. I was placed on hold & an Investigator Johnson(female) came on the line & she yelled at me stating I wrote a bad check in 2007 & she will just forward the information to the shelby county & ***g up on me. She became very biligerant when all I asked for is proof I owe the debt. I don't have a problem paying a bill if I owe you but they refused to provide the information. They wanted to fax me information & it wasn't going to have a letter head. investigator johnson stated "we are not going to pacify you & give you anything, I am doing you a favor to email a receipt". She stated it was a***nst the law to email me anything.
