Scammers, if you ever read this board, reconsider your career choice and switch to an honest living. There are people whose daily existence is simply to bring individuals such as yourself to justice. If you get caught and wind up in jail, or worse, a victim decides to ***t you down themselves, you can't complain. That's what's called an, "occupational hazard."
Just got the call asking for my 16 digit card number. How can this a**hole do this since Apr2009 and still have the same number?
got a call this morning and knew it was a scam since i don't have an account with park bank. anyway, i was bored so i played along and gave them some false info. i ended up talking to a real person and got them to **** up after ***ually harassing the person. i must have hit home real close on so****ing since i pretty much had her in tears. it was so great!
They said my debit card from Park Bank was cancelled and to press 1 to restore it. I ***g up.Scammer!ID says Georgia, US.

Got a call from this number at 7:30pm on a Sa****ay. Same thing...said my card from a bank I don"t even have was deactivated and to press 1 to reactivate. I just ***g up. When I called the number back it was "column crafters"
I got a call from this number and it is indeed column crafters in Georgia. I talked to the company manager and they are working with local authorities to try to figure out how the scammers are using their phone number to scam people in 5 states. The problem is there are no laws a***nst this type of high technology scam and cat****g the people is really impossible because they route all over the world and are virtually untraceable. This is a nightmare! I get charged for every incomming call because I have a pay as you go plan and have c****ed my number 3 times and they still get me. This Stinks! I am even on the do not call list but they keep comming! Anybody got any advise?
Just got the call, and called it back, and it is indeed column crafters, well, so they say. Tried to leave a message but was unable to.
Received a spam call from these fools at 5:48am. Idiots!
GOD. Those kinds of computerized voices scare the cheese out of me. Especially when my stuff gets "deactivated". Well, its 8:40pm, and I don't appreciate those kinds of calls. Ugh. It told me to press 1 to talk to someone or so****ing. eugh.
Same as everyone else: got a call at 7 am saying my credit card had been deactivated due to su****ious activity, and to press 1 to reactivate. I was su****ious b/c the voice was EXTREMELY robotic--guess these spammers are cheapskates!--and because whenever 'su****ious activity' had previously occurred on my BoA card, a live person from BoA would call me within minutes of my making the purchase, not at 7 am! I did press 1, despite these su****ions, because they said they were calling from Kansas City, which is where I'm from and where my bank accounts are located. After pressing 1, the voice then asked me to enter my credit card number. That's when I knew so****ing was up and ***g up. Anywhere else I can report this besides here? Somewhere more official?
Today 02/04/2010 At 10:33 A.m. I got a Call saying my Security Card was Deactivated and Press 1 to reconnect. So i pressed two and it ***ge up on me. I tried Several Attempts to Call the number Back and Every time it automatically ***ge up on me. By the way it was a Women Computerized Voice Speaking. Do you think it is Trying To Steel Our Iden***y?
Claimed to be from a credit union where we do not have an account. Said ATM card had been deactivated, press 1 to transfer to security department to fix problem.
called house phone at 0330am cdt. answering ma****e recorded message that "due to su****ious activity my account has been deactivated. press one to be connected to a security company". never heard of this company. made sure my finanncial info was secure and investigated. column crafters is (supposedly) a company in atlanta, georgia that makes custom columns out of pvc pipe for self installation. this is definately a scam or racket.
Same thing, said my account was suspended due to su****ious activity and press 1 to reactivate it. Said they were a bank (forgot name) in Florida.
Calls were made to my cell# and my spouse's cell # at 10:55 p.m.! When I anwsered, the message said it was from "Dakota Bank", which neither of us do business with. However, when my spouse called back the # showing on the phone, a message service picked up for "Column Crafters" in GA. HMMM...seems to be an attempted scam.
