A scam and a Spam telling you you're in trouble with the IRS and giving you 24 to 48 hours to return a phone call to the resolution department or it would be turned over to the Criminal Division of the irs. Report it to your local police like I did and let them take the number down and notify your local district attorney don't fall for their crap

My tax file was flagged and if I did not get back to these people within 24 to 48 hours my file was going to be handed off to a Criminal Division and I was going to be in trouble with the IRS

Calling to tell me I owed several yeyof unpaid tax debt. They said they could take a checking account or a debit card to resolve the problem when I said this is a scam they immediately hung up on me

Did not identify who they were with or a name just that they were calling in reference to unfold taxes or tax issues with IRS- call reference # 185602 call 771-333-5861 ask to speak to someone in the resolution department. Number for caller id was 9492020211- Irvine CA

Said my tax file had been flagged for unfiled or back taxes and to call back in 24 hours or it would be out of their hands. Gave me reference #185602 and phone # 771-333-5861 to call. This is the 3rd time I've gotten this message in the last 3 months.
