Received call just after checking on an account. Expect it was 2-factor authentication, but didn't recognize the phone number.

I got this call while in Thailand to my Google Voice account. It was 30 seconds long and no message was left so I've no idea who called or the purpose.

I received a phone call IN FRANCE on a FRENCH CELL PHONE from this number. The call was received at 5:43 AM. I cannot****ume this is a legitimate caller. It is probably spam or an illegitimate caller. No message was left on my voicemail.

They call you to give you a pin to authenticate with Citibank.

This was a call from my bank to verify my log in. Totally legit.

they call and offer *******s and ****jobs. they will do **** for a little extra. they always swallow!!!

call to my landline came in at 2:00am ! picked up and said*****o. The other end sounded open but no response came right away so I ***g up. Later I identified the caller from my vm ma****e. It's encouraging that they do not hide their id. But it is very unsettling. I do not see why they would not give out who wants to verify our numbers.

Not spam, bank service for resetting password

this was legit in my case. a call from this number verified my iden***y for a financial transaction. I****ume you're safe unless the hacker had access to your phone. without the code they called you with they can't mess with your accounts.

its not a scam... I forgot my login password for my online banking... so I had reset the password they gave me a 4 digit # in the computer an automated called me from this number were I had to put the 4 digit # in to reset my password... if you got a call from this number & you wasn't expecting the call them someone is trying to hack into one of your accounts

Actually he's right - I couldn't remember what the number was from which is how I ended up here but its a number that calls you when you attempt to sign do***ents online (mine was for auto insurance) that provides another ****od of verification. Its for a company called Docusign. If you got a call without requesting you might want to look into it.

I stand corrected, it's legit.  It is a compay that is used to help authenticate a sign in.  In the financial industry there is a requirement for dual authentication.  the first authentication is your user ID and your password.  the second authentication varies with the company you are using.  It could be a picture, or a pre-defined question, etc. In my case I signed on using my ID & password.  The second step was to asnwer the question that was presented (like what was your high school mascot or so****ing).  I failed this step, so the system gives me another chance by going to my phone number on file and dialing it.  It gives me a code over the phone and I can enter it and get access.  I guess they figure that if it was fraud, it would be from some hacker and they would never get the call because the call only goes to the number on file, which is either your home or cell number.  took me a little to figure this out, but it is legit.

Some computer voice called and asked me to verify some numbers on my computer for verification. I ***g up !

This is a scam.  They called me a 6:30 AM and asked me to authenticate a number on my phone.  I didn't have one, so they ***g up.  It was completely automated, no human voice.

Call received from this number and then call made by my phone to this number without my dialling it.  Cannot get through to so called Authentify, every option I press takes me through to voice-mail.
