Leave a CommentSame as other comment about Norton Billing Team. This number was given in an email that informed me that I purchased a $499 Norton Life Lock subscription. Total scam. I didn't order any Norton product and they don't have my credit card or any data other than my real name and email address. If you get one, it's a scam.
Received an email from "Norton Bill Team" claiming I had purchased one of their plans for 499.99. Email contained a pdf with a fake invoice and this number listed on the bottom.
Email from GeekSquad Billing ordering internet Security subscription for 499.99 on a visa debit card
5,000 keep squad
This phone number came up in an email I received saying it was from Geek squad. The e- mail was notifying me that the account for my computer security had been renewed and my Visa card had been charged $449.99. I don't have any accounts with Geek Squad. I called the number and a woman with a Nigerian accent answered the phone. I told her about the email I received but gave her no information about myself. First she said she was going to transfer my call to someone else but then she asked me if I shop or banked nline. I didn't answer the question. Next, she asked me if I was near my computers? I said, no I'm not home at the moment. She told me to call back later when I was home. I never told her where I was, how many computers I have or don't have, what I was doing.... Finally, she said, I'm trying to steal your money! I said, "did you say you are trying to steal my money?" and she said, "yes". I said, so you are trying to scam me and she said yes. Unbelievable!! I contacted the "real" Geek Squad company to let them know that this is going on.
