I received a call tonight from this 773 number, the man identified himself as Dan Goodwin of Mitchell Communications Group and told me i won a ford expedition or equivalent value, vacation tix, tv, etc.  Recognizing it was a scam, I took down his name and number and said i would get back to him.   I have no plans to call back.

Thank you for posting this. I received a message tonight from Mitchell Communications Group. I called back to "claim my prize" of either a Ford Expedition, or 2 round trip tickets. I said it sounded fishy, and a scam. The guy said there's no scam, and asked the rhetorical question of how would they profit from me. I would only pay taxes on the gift. They said I entered a contest/sweepstakes within the last 12-18 months at mall or online. The number I called back was 877-279-3457 ext. 243. I spoke with the person, but had a bad feeling so I declined.

Mitchell Communications Group is a scam!  They will call and tell you have won a new car and ask for your credit card number.  They tell you that you will not need to buy anything.  That is because they are planning on buying things from your card and want as much credit on it as possible.  Do not trust these scam artists.
