Leave a CommentTHey call several times a day and leave no message. When we do pick up the phone they **** up.
They called me four times over the past week, but never left a message or said anything. Its a little disappointing to hear this at all, dont you think?
My name is Christian A. Kerr and I am the new general manager for the Smart Education Foundation. I just wanted to address a few items and leave you information to offer an opportunity for anyone that has any unresolved issues to discuss them with me personally. The office number is listed also, however, the second number is my personal cell phone.First, and foremost, any representative that has spoken to you in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner, please contact me at the numbers, or email, I will list below. I can go back, search the calls made to your number, review the recording and discipline that individual immediately. That type of behavior will not be tolerated and to anyone that may have had that experience, I apologize.Second, the request for information comes from the following criteria: PSAT registrations, College or Job Fairs and Internet Registrations. Obviously, sometimes there is incorrect information that is acquired. Should there be an error in that information, when our firm calls, please let the representative know and we will disposition your number accordingly so you will not be telephoned a***n. Finally, please be advised that we are only trying to provide a valuable service and product that may be beneficial to some families, while others it may not. This is why we offer the 30 day evaluation for families to be sure. However, that is only the first guarantee. If families do keep our product, should the child not receive a 300 point increase on the SAT, or 5 for the ACT, they receive the purchase price back. Also, we offer the family that same point increase for up to 6 children for the next 10 years. I take great pride in our integrity and professionalism. You may go to the Better Business Bureau and compare us to any compe***or. Almost all others have ***dreds of customer complaints, while we only possess 11. As promised, should you have any other comments, questions, concerns or grievances, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time with the following information:Christian A. SCAM!
They have called my cell phone twice and ask to speak to Kaylee's mom or dad. I tell them they have the wrong number when they call.
Called asking to speak to my son's mom or dad then put call on hold then ***g up
this number keeps calling here at least once or twice a week. no one on other end when answer
this number kepps calling every day at least twice a day
Keeps calling my home phone I want it to STOP!!!
They are still at it. I did not have a message in voice mail, just the number from Chicago, IL on caller ID. With a child in high school. I'll be sure to tell the where to go if they call regarding ACTs. Hope none of the fund raising groups at school sold the contact info. Hey, if they'll buy from my kid, I'll buy from their's!
We recieved a few calls from this number. It shows up as simple "Chicago, Il" on our caller-id
I have probably got a dozen calls over the past few months - asking for some kids parents. I have told them 4 o 5 times that this kid does not live here and to take us off the list. They say they will. Then I get anothe call. VERY annoying.
I called back and asked to be removed from their list and reported this to the Do Not Call registry. Time will tell if anything works.
People keep calling from this number. Sometimes they do not answer and other times suggest they are from Smart Education Foundation. Won't quit calling.
The caller ID indicates the call is from "Smart Education." We are getting two calls a day from this number, as late as 8:30 p.m.. Please STOP. We have registered for Do Not Call and DO NOT want to hear from any telemarketers.
Called at 4:39pm on 11/5/09. My son recently took the PSAT's at his high school. My guess is this is where they get the information from.
maybe all of the yelling you hear in the background is me blasting an air horn into the caller's ear everytime they call our home.
Just received another call from this number at 4:55 pm on 10/26, the first call was this morning and a***n they asked for my sons parents...I asked what this was about...it is for ACT/SAT preparation and I told him to take me off the list, I would be going through the school. We will see if it works. I want to know how they get this information from the schools! Little did he know that my sons school just took the SAT a few weeks ago and it is the only one for this year.
ROSE: they ARE the real Smart Education Foundation. The number listed as 733-698-6064 is an error. Try calling it for verification. Also, take a look at the other numbers on the site and you will see that the correct number is 773-694-6064. Regardless, this company sells test prep software in the form of an interactive DVD, but from my experience it is over-priced for what you get and they will do whatever possible to ensure that you are signed up for additional reoccurring charges and that you do not return the materials within the 30 allotted 30 day period.I am not certain as to how their data is acquired, but their means may be questionable. Do your research before making a decision. Some people may enjoy the "SEF" program, but so****ing tells me, most will not.Be safe!
Who/What at the schools is selling/giving out this info.? My number and asked for my sons parents?
How did they get my Phone number and Daughters name?

Go to the website for proof! http://www.smartef.org/help.html

this is a scam. w***ver is making these callsis a boiler room operation. maybe they are appealing to the gullible, but its ludicrous to imagine I would put my trust, concerning my kidseducation no less, in a total stranger. I told them to stop calling and I will put them on caller ID block.
left message on my ma****e this morning... "for Allen's mom or dad" was only thing said. Female caller. Had several calls from 888-260-2222 previously, when I did answer those, caller asked for "Allen's mom or dad". Told them I was on do not call list and to put me on their do not call. It appears they just switched numbers. ****s!
"donations" will go into the owner's pocket.http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8664903109same scam... different name, same owners http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fS9XUYE-Zwg&feature=channel
They left a message on voicemail, asking for the mom or dad of my 11th-grade son. Then ***g up when he realized it was voicemail rather than a live call. According to this outfit's web site -- http://www.smartef.org/ -- it claims to be a charitable organization and that it supposedly will give away a very small handful of scholarships. But it also tries to sell very expensive SAT test prep software and services. And its web site also admits that its application for 501c3 non-profit status with the IRS is still "pending" and therefore any "donations" or purchases of its software are not considered tax deductible. No kidding. I've reported this to the Indiana Attorney General's office, it's not only a violation of Do Not Call laws but also appears to be a scam, claiming to be a non-profit when you're not (or not yet).
These people called asking to speak to my son's mom or dad. They spoke some jibberish and said they'd call back. Various websites list these people as subterranean s*** bags!
They also called, asked to the parents on the answering ma****e. They said "Hello, can we speak to your mom or dad please." My daughter said this is my phone Someone was yelling in the background, and they ***g up when she asked who it was
They called, asked to see my parents on the answering ma****e. They said "Hello, can we speak to E___'s mom or dad please." Someone was yelling in the background, and they ***g up.
I just got this call...so****ing to do with my SAT scores...but they wouldn't talk to me, they wanted my folks...
