Leave a Commentcall my office every day - sometimes leave a message "hello? hello?" but otherwise they just let my voicemail hear a click. how can I get them to stop calling? I am on do not call registry.
Got my first call today, but don't answer numbers with unknown area codes. Thanks for all the postings and warnings! (googled the number) Had a similar call several months ago but I don't think it was from this number. If you don't answer, they eventually give up!! Just keep a record of the numbers so you know who it is.
SCAM ALERTSaid he was updating listing for Online Yellow Pages. Went through steps where I had to answer several reasonable questions but he began TALKING OVER RECORDING then says I had to say yes to a FREE listing like last year when I could hear the recording in the background asking to agree to a charge.I told him I wanted to hear the recording but he kept TALKING OVER IT and told me to answer yes to him unless I wanted to be charged. When I told him that I didn't like what he was doing, HE ***G UP ON ME.SCAM SCAM How do they get away with this? I asked him if this was a solicitation and he said NO.If your phone bill gets charged, usually it is easy to get a full credit - make sure to get it ALL credited.
I am getting anywhere from 5 to 10 calls a day from this number. Never anyone on the line and if they are they just **** up. How do I make this stop?
I receive 3-5 calls a day from these pests. Experience the same things as those commenting earlier. Best I can determine is they are****ociated with PAC West Telecomm, Inc. out of Carson City, NV. Also may be T-Mobile. Does anyone have a ****od for cutting them off?
This is a total scam - agent talks over the recorded message so you can't hear they are going to charge $39.95 a month to your phone bill for a "free" online yellow page ad.Report them
Interupts me at least 10 times a day at my business and most of the time disconnects after I answer
said that they were the white pages listing and in order for us not to receive these calls from them we had to talk to them. They are fake and they even sound fake and unproffetional.
Receive calls almost daily , no one there to speak to to try and get off theri list
I first thought this was legit and went thru the confirmation with the guy asking questions and pun****g in the response...quickly sensed a scam and said I did not want service and ***g up. Since then they call 3-5 times a day with most times no one one other line. The next time they call with someone on the other line I am going to try to get info from them. Sure would like to see this operation busted on "Dateline". Wonder how many businesses they have scammed into paying the 39.95 monthly on their phone bill.
They want to update yellow pages online listing. I update regular published information (I sometimes get bored and like to play with them). After updating published info and using a alias I developed for incoming solitations, we develop a password/code. Then they want to record some information. When the recording first comes on it is pretty standard, then all of a sudden, they s**** talking over the recording and tell me how to answer. I told them to be quiet so I could hear what I was answering on the recording. The first guy that called got mad because I refused to answer unless I could hear what I was answering HE THREATENED TO SEND ME A BILL FOR $800.00, I said go ahead AND HE ***G UP STATING THEY WOULD CONTINUE TO CALL UNTIL SOMEONE UPDATED THIS INFO.The calls continued to come, been going on for a week or better now. I tried a***n to speak with a woman this time, she did the same thing, only when I asked her to be quiet so I could hear the recording, SHE JUST ***G UP ON *****E CALLS CONTINUE AT LEAST TWICE DAILY.I HAVE REPORTED TO FCC
I was contacted by this number (775-297-8808) and called T-Mobile (this is the carrier). They said they cannot do anything unless I'm on the do not call list. I told them I was and they said I should re register. So I re registered and we will see if they call a***n. It most definitely is a scam. I got caught by the same type of call before. You can register for the do not call list on the following site https://www.donotcall.gov/
These People have called at least twice a day. I have answered once. No one on the other end. Getting a whisle if they do not stop.
They call every day at least once, Most of the time no one is on the other end. We are on the do not call list and they call anyway.
Been charged and credited off and on for almost a year. This **** has got to be procecuted! We don't need this kind of garbadge out there causing troubles and taking up valuable time to clean up a mess.
Same as above, we get 2 and 3 of this number calling use everyday. Just dead air when we answer. What does it take to stop these calls? The FCC no call law is a total joke, Nothing ever comes of reporting any of these scammers to the FCC. The local telephone provider says they can't do any thing about it. Some one must have a way to get rid of them once and for all.
finally answered the phone seeing this # (after, like above, they have called x2/day). after i said 'hello,' heard a series of beeps/tones and a guy having a conversation w/someone else. then they ***g up. should i be worried? *****in' scammers.
I am getting several of these calls a week, just like all of the other comments posted, they either disconnect upon answer, or hear the back dialing, or if there is a live person, they claim to be verifing the correct information for the free listing of the business. Total scam. When they put you thru to verify the info, the rep talks over the recording so you can't tell what you are saying yes to. Who are these people? Make them stop!
I am so tired of these calls. What can we do?There is another company that use to call until I say that I would call the FBI. I found out that the company's name is Onetouch India. 877 553-3114
Call terminates as soon as I answer the call. I use to get an agent wanting to sell me a free ad. I kept turning it down.
they call at least once a day...... Ahhh!!! how do I make them stop.
keep calling my business , I have blocked there # somehow they are still able to call
Constantly get calls at work from this number -- when I pick up, I hear numbers dialing loudly in my ear, then get disconnected. Soon after, I will get the actual call from a representative.Never, EVER allow your voice to be recorded, for exactly the reasons already mentioned.I tend to just **** up on them, but if I feel like being nice, I just say, "I'm sorry, I'm not authorized to do that."
This guy calls talking really fast about verifying your mailing address, company name, my name and ***le regarding a free listing in the white pages. When I asked what company this is he just said it is a database verification company for Verizon, ATT....etc. Then he goes through this voice recording session where he wants you to state every answer to every question that you just told to him to be recorded! About midway through this process, I got a funny feeling that I was being hustled so I ***g up.
Same experience as Michael. I have now recieved 2 of the same calls from this company attempting to talk over the question where you agree to $30/month and insist that you answer "yes" and only "yes". When I said, "yes, I agree to the free ad." both times one agent ***g up on me immediatly and the second agent actually replayed the question without talking over it and the question was "Do you agree to have $30/month charged to your phone bill". Both agents insisted the ad was a free listing and they were just verifying info. Total rip off. I have filed a complaint with the FCC.

This is a SCAM. They make you think they are updating info for a free online yellow pages listing. But, they then record your answers and one of the questions is authorization to charge you a monthly fee. However, the person on the phone talks over the recorded question being asked and just tells you to say yes, without you hearing that you agreed to pay the monthly fee. Verbally they tell you it is a free listing. If this happens to you call your state's Attorney General office and file a complaint.
This number is a scam to get you to sign up for a phone service that they charge you about $30/month for. They try to talk over their automated message confirmation to get you to agree to it. Don't.
This # called my office number. No one there when we answered. I called the # back, and get a busy signal.
