If you call back it transfers you to a person who won't tell you the company name. If you have verizon wireless though, you can block up to 5 numbers. Yay, I can sleep a***n!

My husband keeps getting a calll from this phone number at all times of the day. If he doesn't answer, the voicemail picks up but they don't leave a message. If he does answer, nothing happens and he ends up ****ing up. I think it's a debt collector but they are very annoying and relentless!

I have received several calls from this number. When I answer the call the recorded message comes on asking if I am ***** - the true person who owes the debt. It asks you to press 1 if you are this person and 2 if you are not. Each time I press 2. I am not the person they are trying to reach. In a normal situation this would be sufficient to remove the number, etc. Both my husband and myself have advised we are not this person, please do not call this number any more and to please remove our number from the database. We have been told this was to be done several time. Today two more calls came in. I answered and told them I was not this person and please quit calling. Approximately two to three hours later I got another call and went through the same remove our number, etc. They got on the phone to say that the number just doesn't magically come off the list. I said if you removed my number from the database it should and why would be getting another call? I asked to speak with a supervisor and Mr Don Landers got on the phone. Mr Landers was rude, obnoxious and while I was trying to explain accused me of interrupting him and continued to cut me off throughout the call. When I advised I was going to contact the BBB he said good and I'll replay this message for them so that they can hear you interrupting me. Long story short...he never listened and I still am not the person they were calling and I just wanted someone to hear me out, understand they were costing me minutes and money on our cell phone and all would have been well. Frustrating!!! If this is truly the way that debt collectors are allowed to operate then we need c****e!

I have received numerous calls from this number asking for an individual (cannot determine name), and am asked to type in a key if I'm NOT this person. I have not typed in any keys while active on the line, but want the calls to stop!

Just s****ed calling as of 11-10-09 and has called twice within 1 hour and will not leave message. Not interested in any of these calls. All of my numbers are registered on the Do Not Call Registry. SO STOP CALLING!!!!!

Calls constantly, ****s up, even after being told they are calling a number on the do-not-call list and that they are trying to collect an old repurchased debt that has exceeded the state's statute of limitations for collection.

I have received several calls from this number. I've had a chance to answer only two of these calls. Both times I have answered, a ma****e says this message is for me and states my name. Then it asks to verify my name by pressing "1." I pressed the 1 key and it put me on hold for more than 3 minutes. The ma****e just stated that someone would be with me shortly. I continued holding but no one came on the line. The background music stopped and the line went dead. I tried calling the number back and it didn't work.

Called my number at 8.44pm last night (9/11/09). I did not answer but after the person called, they did leave a v.message. Went to check the v.msg but the caller didn't say anything - it was about 4 seconds of dead air.

I don't know who these people are. They are willing to give a persons personal information out if you stay on the phone. If you stay on the phone they say that you are scknowledging that you are the person they are asking for. They asked for the wrong name...but what personal info are they willing to give a stranger. Theses people need to be stopped. When you call them back to let them know they have the wrong number, they answer "Hello." only. If they are bill collectors, shouldn't there be a law to tell the consumer who they are. I think it should be a law that they have to introduce themselves and their company.
