Leave a CommentFor the past two months I received calls to my work phone, home and cell at least once a week from random numbers about my car's warranty running out. The numbers are 775-465-0025, 800-465-7962, and 414-462-5902, all from the same company. The call times very from 12pm to 10pm in the evening. The Calls that take place after 8pm are in violation of outbound dialing rules since they are outside the set calling times. I have also been placed in que in excess of 2 min to speak with a rep. This is a violation in most states as well and they are not allowed to queue an out bound call with out stating all****ociates are busy and to call back later, in some states the company can not queue an outbound call at all. They also do not display a valid call back number on thier dialer and post random disconnect phone numbers. All non 800 numbers have tracked back to personal phones. When I have asked where you got my number they immediately **** up. Or when I tell them they are in violation for dialing past the set time for calling they **** up. This company is obviously knowingly committing these violations and does not care. I followed their rules and pressed option two to remove me from their follow up list yet the persist. I have not gone as far as giving them information so they have yet to give me their company name
I receive calls to my work cellphone once a week from random numbers about my car's warranty running out. The numbers are 775-465-0025, 800-465-7962, and 414-462-5902. All from the same company/person, although I've only ever heard the automated message and never talked to a person.
Never in my life did I get one of those phone calls until the week I got back from a Carnival Cruise. They called my work number every single day for 3 weeks, and even pressing 2 to be removed from the list, I got a call every day.
This is [obviously] a scam. However, no one has sold your info, about either you or your car. They simply robo-dial(via software) ALL the numbers in an area code and exc****e. If they get one or two (or 20) bites per day, they profit.I got these for weeks on my cellphone, and now my ***nd new, never been listed, VOIP number.Extremely annoying, but other than getting the 'company' busted, there is little we can do.No contact info, no valid callback number...and they KNOW they are breaking multiple laws. Some more info here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23147777/

This number has called both my phone and my son's phone on the same account. My truck is now 6 years old and I have to date received 30 calls about my expired car warranty. Who is selling our information???
I was in a meeting in downtown Washington when my Blackberry indicated a call. I left the conference room, accessed the call, and found it to be a "cold call" giving me my "final notice" that my "factory vehicle warranty" was expiring. That surprised me, as my car is 9 years old and way out of warranty. I am more than a little ticked off.
yet another "2nd and final notice" about my already expired "factory vehicle warranty". tried to call back, rang twice, went to typical "this number is no longer in service." google lists the number as being in nevada and belonging to a person, with no apparent connection to toyota, the manufacturer of my vehicle.
