This number has repeatedly called me. They told me that Capitol One bank bought debt from another credit card company and I owed on an account that was sent to collection. The guy said if I didn't pay the settlement amount that day that they would garnish my wages and put it on my credit report. He had all my info. My name, my family members names, my address, phone number, last 4 digits of my ss number. The credit card he was talking about was one I had about 20 years ago and it was one I couldn't pay on at the time. It almost went to court but was settled and paid in 2008. These guys are scammers and are trying to get you to pay and are threatening but in a tactful way. Do not answer and block the number.
