I  received a letter and a check for $4,450.00 from "Global Promotions".

I live in Texas and received a letter from a company "Capital Direct, 7184 168th Street, Kelowna, B.C. Ca***a,  Telephone(347)248-0758 stating that I had won $250,000.00 from "the Mega Millions Draw" held of April 21, 2007 and a check for $4200.00 drawn on Citibank in NER Castle, Delaware dated April 11, 2008. It is signed by John J. Getek and the check is drawn on a company called "Loblaw US, 30 ****omery Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302.  The claims agent I was instructed to call was a Stanley Reyes at 1-778-858-1041 to begin processing my winnings..  The letter was signed by a Paul Eglasias (Promotion Manager) and the Tax Agent is Anthony Nevin, 5432 Westminister St., Whistler, BC Ca***a.  It said it's the final notice but I don't remember getting the first.. LOL.  At first I was excited but I'm glad I decided to do some research because it seemed to good to be true.  I asked myself, why would they want me to send them money if I've won and they got my money, deduct it from that and send me the balance...There are so many misspelled words on the check that anybody who looked careful could see that a legit business doesnt handle its business that way.I took it to my attorney and he told me to take it to the Sheriff.  I hope ***ody gets scammed by this.
