Kept calling for past 2 days saying they have urgent business matter but didn't leave details.  I'll want to drag them by collar to police station

they call at 825am everyday and every couple of hours. Can we ***** them?????????????

s****ing to get daily calls,i'm waiting until someone answers then i'm ****ing a whistle very hard down the phone.

they call my house all day from  778-329-0347 and then tell me to hold then **** up, and sometimes they call as late at 10pm and wake up my son. i have not talked to anyone when they call, since they **** up on me so i dont know what they are calling for?? i had to google the number to see who it was and now that i know im going to get a hold of them and tell them off.

I have gotten 8 calls in the last hour and a half.  This is ridiculous.  I want their home number so I can do the same.

I called the calgary office - ask for Ray "Ledder".  Obviously if you owe money you have to fix it - but if the number is there in error, he seemed to know what to do.  Look them up on the internet.

They've been phoning my fax number several times a day all summer; however, because there is no caller ID the faxt doesn't go through. I've programmed my fax ma****e to not accept calls when there is no ID.

They call continuously 3-4 times a day when i call them back it clicks me off the line....when they call all it says is this is an important business call please stay on the line over and over then it a***n clicks me off the line

Doing anything like press "1"  as the system asks "If you're this person", the phone just goes dead.  It ****s up if it gets your answering ma****e.But for now, hit CBV website http://www.cbvcollections.com/ and find their local office number.  Phone it and ask for the Privacy Officer.  In Vancouver contact Erin Coe on her direct line 604-661-7902. I said I run a private business from my home and that any such calls are disruptive to my business, and are being logged and a bill will be sent to them at $1000 per hour for business disruption.  The calls stopped right away.  As of Sept 30, such calls are subject to a $15,000 fine.  On Sept 30 2008 be sure to register with Ca***a Do Not Call list 1-866-580-3625 or website www.LNNTE-DNCL.gc.ca

If you want them to stop harassing you, call their toll-free number:1-888-311-1121.You can get a hold of a real person at that number. That's what my husband and I did, and they finally stopped harassing us.Also: They have many many complaints made a***nst them at the Better Business Bureau. If phoning them has no effect, you could try that route as well.

I have received four phone calls today from both these numbers, so I decided to google the phone number.  I called the 604 number back and got put on hold so I ***g up.  I have not yet answered any calls.  I was glad to read the other comments

I found a contact page on their website and left this message:I have been getting a steady stream of phone calls from your automated service to my telephone number. I am not the person you are looking for, I have had this phone number for years! Your service does nothing except irritate me! Stop it! the number needs to be taken off the list: {*******-****}.BTW: When someone gives you a telephone number, don't you check it out first before blindly entering it into your call-out database? Why would you****ume that someone who owes money would give you their real number??? It's not very bright is it? And it's not very responsible either!

This is CBV for sure! No doubt. The law regarding collections states clearly these *****s collectors have no legal right to harass in such a manner. I had calls once 16 times in 2 days from both #'s listed on here and refuse to even  answer as I know what they are and what they want. I am not even the person they are looking for and I told them this 3 x. Everytime they get a newbie on the phones they put them to work to show their quota to their d***head boss showing them that they actually make calls to harass people. Some system when they say they remove you and they dont. I just ignore these dorks  now. Let them waste all that time chasing the wrong guy! lol.( I wonder what they actullay tell people they do for a living by the way) What a bunch of jokers! I just cant believe people do this **** for a living. I realize people have to do it but a more civil ****od must be available then this bs.

We had these calls coming in 3 times a day at work. I called CBV in Calgary at (403) 543-0500 and they said they were looking for someone that we've never heard of. The girl said they'd take our number off their list, so we'll see.

Just like chiron63 and danna, I've received calls from both 778 329 0347 and 604 687 ***9. I didn't pick up the several times they've been calling but I finally did. Yes****ay the 778 329 0347 called me. I wouldn't have guessed it was a Collection Agency though, because they just breathed heavily into the phone, and it creeped me out so I ***g up.Today, I picked up when the 604 687 ***9 number called and it sounded like a little kid, and he asked "Is Jonathan there?" ...and.. it was weird. Some collection agency.

I just got the same call, I called them back and they had the wrong name...she's like "Ok im c****ing it bye."  What a bunch of ******s...CBV is.

Calls from 604-687-***9 result in a ****up when asked callers iden***y. Calls are as a result of a utility refund which was decided to be a mistake 3.5 mos after refund was issued. I wonder how many of these "mistakes" occur, and at whos expense?

Phone rang. when I answered a recording kept repeating I was being contacted regarding a "business matter".  Eventually the other end disconnected. Probably a collection agency looking for my son.

Got several calls from 778 329 0347 and 604 687 ***9.  Both of these say they're calling about an important business matter.  The message repeats 2 or 3 times and the line goes dead.  Calling them back gets no answer.  These numbers appear to belong to CBV Collection Services Ltd in Calgary and also in Vancouver their TOLL FREE  number is 1-888-311-1121.  I haven't been able to get anyone to answer this line yet.  They ask you to leave a message and then **** up.  The annoying thing is that I don't have any outstanding debts.  The next step is my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau. CONFIRMED:  778 329 0347 and 604 687 ***9 are for CBV Collection Services Ltd.  They can be reached at the 604 687 ***9 number.  I just got off a call with them and they were looking for someone else. (last name LAW)When I told them that I had never heard of that person and that I have lived at this address and had my phone number for well over 5 years, they said that they would remove my number from the system.We'll see what happens.

it's a collection agency, deal with your debt!

Someone keeps calling me from this number, all hours of the day.  It says "British Columbia" then the number.  I don't answer calls I don't know, so I haven't answered it.  Telephone solicitors are getting SO bad no***ays...acting like they have "important financial information" for you, then you find out they're trying to sell you a septic tank!

I get wierd calls for my brother, I think collection agencies.
