Keep getting these calls on my cell phone. Will not answer as it's a scam...Won a prize...press #1, etc.

Received a call on our cell phone from 1-778-370-8989 and did not respond. Presume it is a crank call or from a telemarketer and do not wish to be bothered by these people.

this number called my cell - i missed that call. Then 20 mins later they called my WORK number - which i don't even give out to anyone! Picked up the phone that time and this creepy robot voice said so****ing about winning cash and press 1. I ***g up immediately!

Called and said you had wone so****ing and to press #2 on your cell. A person then comes on and asks you if you are over 25 in order to be eligible for what you have won. Just say no cus then they **** up. The best thing is save the # and mark it so you don't make the same mistake a***n.

this garbage calls repeatedly to my cell eventhough it is on no call list ..

Claim they are from COSCO with a free prize if I press 1 on my phone. I just ***g up as it is an obvious scam.

Don't leave message & keeps calling

Told that as a valued Costco customer I being offered a special deal and to push "1" to accept. Yah right...I push "1" and I get charged for a long distance call. No way am I falling for that.

I get calls from them daily, so annoying!

Iden***y unknown...did not leave a message. They are wasting their time because if I don't know who it is, I will not answer

Don't know the caller or how they got my cell phone number as only a very few have it! I will be charged air time as the caller did not respond when iIsaid*****o. Unfortunatelt I di not check to see who was calling before I answered. OUr cell numbers are on the "No Call" List.

The phone just kept on ringing, and ringing, and ringing. Somehow there was the ability to override a ring limit that switched to voicemail. No message. I finally had to disconnect caller continually pressing disconnect. Very annoying. Costs for L.D. and minutes as well

I missed the call on perpose, but I knew it was a salesman because of my special ring tone by the band Rush. So every time a telemarketer or salesman calls, my ring tone sings: "Of--- SALESMEN!" and plays the rest of the song.

I am just so fed up with these calls on my cell phone. What can be done to stop these scammers from calling?? and its costs me everytime they do call. Grrrrr So much for the "do not call registry", a waste of time.

annoying robot call about some contest

3000 free travel dollars from a company across the country that has nothing to do with Bell Ca***a and I have to hit 1 to do anything? What kind of a scam is this ****. Talk about a great way to get hit with hidden charges.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number. They said "since you're a valued Bell customer, you have won 3,000..."  then they asked for credit card info. I ***g up.

I just got a call and missed it as I was on the other line. It was from 778.370.8989. I did call it back, it says that the number is disconnected. As I like to get to the bottom of things I called Operator service. They were quite helpful. They told me it is more than likely a telemarketing company that only pays for outgoing calls and they cannot be called back.Apparantly this is quite a common practice. BT

I got a call from this number at 1:20pm Monday Aug 16thCalled back after looking it up on the internet.  Found this site....It said the # was no longer in service... wierd

I received a call form this number as well today.  I ignored it as I figure it was a scam/telemarketing and I didn't want the long distance charge..lol

I received a call from them about half an hr ago but missed their call.  From this post it looks like w***ver owns this number s****ed prank-calling/spamming people today.  I hope he will burn in***** for this.

I received the call too , so I called Costco and they said, it's a scam going on. So DO NOT press 1 when the ma****e asks you to press. And they gave me phone busters number and I call them and file a complaint. The more complains they get the quicker action they take. Here is the phone busters number - 1888-495-8501. I have made the complaint and I am hoping that the God **** scammer dies in pain.

got a message, replied back within the hour and the phone is "Disconnected". How can this number be identified, who owns it?

just got the same message telling me because I'm a valued bell customer I get $3000 of travel dollars.  to collect I had to press "1".  I did nothing while I looked up the number here.  the call disconnected after about 30 seconds.I wonder if Bell and Costco know about this?probably not but if I were them I'd get *****ing on shutting it down.

It prompted you to press certain numbers, which in turn authorize them to bill to your telephone account - for long distance charge or other phishing charges. This is a typical spam / phishing scam.

Mine said to hear the message press one - I press one and it said press one to hear the message - where is this number from?

I just got a call as well.  I called the number back right away and a recording said that the number is out of service.  I am never picking up from that number.

Called and didn't leave a message. Called back and got a recording saying the number was no longer in service. Awfully fishy...
