Appears as an email from Best Buy and Says that my bank account was used to purchase almost $1000 item. Says the money is coming out of my checking account and lists this phone number.

Text just said “*****o! Why is your number in my phone address book?”

Just said “hi”

Its a scammer. They try to make you believe that one of your family member***** their BMW & are holding hostage for money. Do not give your money. Report to police!!

This number tried to tell me my dad was in a car accident & they were told to call me. Long story short, they said they had a gun to his head & wanted money from me.
