call from 780-449-2088  guy with fairly thick african(?) accent asked for me by name and asked about windows on my computer and wether it was slow.  I asked who are you?  He said some name.  I said why would you be calling me - I never bought my computer from you - my son sells them and that is where I got it.  I said REMOVE my name and number from your list - DO NOT call me a***n.  I have had calls from this number in the past.  Warning - NEVER give out ANY of your information.  If you do give someone your birthdate and driver's license, then you are helping them make phony ID's with legitimate details - your info - someone else's picture!

I forgot to mention that the first time he called it was Unknown Name, Unknown Number. The second time he called, there was a local number without area code which is fine. It was 406-8325. After I ***g up on him, called back the number and heard "The number you have dialed is not in service"!! My wife blamed me a lot and says when someone calls and says we want to give you so****ing for free, just say I am not interested and **** up! :)

I got a call from someone with Indian accent and he said he is calling on behalf of Bell Mobility. Austin JonesEmp# SM90041(877)823-1463He said they have a promotion and wants to send me a free Blackberry. He didn't mention the model and anything about it. He asked me about my name, birth of date, and also wanted some IDs like driving license. Unfortunately, I gave them my birthday and postal code but then I was suspect and didn't gave my driving license number. He told me he is calling from Toronto and I can call the above number to verify the company's existence and he will call me back. I called and the message says it is AT&T Bell Cellular.But this is obviously a fake promotion. ***ody will send a cell phone.  He called a***n and I said I don't want the BB and ***g up.

I just signed up for a phone through these people. I took all of their information that they gave me. Employee numbers, names and a number to call back. They did NOT ask me for any of my personal information, like SIN or banking information, other than my license number. I called bell and they said that they do have many external companies that represent them on their behalf, but could not verify the number. I better get the package they promised, or I will hold Bell accountable for any fees. Bell was usless when I tried to call to verify this number. Here's hoping.

I am going to the better business bureau and suggest others do the same. I am going head to head with these guys. I didnt give them my details but was sent an LG phone. I took it on the premise of reading the contract. The details of the contract werent the same as the details given over the phone. I promptly returned it and have been on top of them ever since. I kept my tracking number, the dealership number and the name and number of the individual dealer. I have received four bills and am now getting concerned that I may no longer be the responsibility of the dealer when the account gets directed to collections or so****ing. I have only tried one call soliciter and I will never do another. Alberta Better Business bureau, get these guys in check.

These ****s call at 7am and when I said don't call, the guy called back 3 more times, finally when my husband answered the **** ***g up on him and didn't try his line.

I have recieved numerous calls from this number and no one is ever on the other line.  If in fact it is a Bell phone provider; I have asked them to never call me a***n.  I am not interested in Bell.  I got 5 calls in a matter of 2 hours.  This is crazy and I want it to stop!

Got a telemarketing call from 729-989-7396. Asked for my name. I said I am not interested and ***g up. Immediately after that I got three calls in succession from 780-449-2088 and heard some jibberish voice including repeating my first name in quick succession.Caller: Don't know

CALL SEVERAL TIME A DAY THEN **** UP

I get this number calling but not leaving a message. I'm sick of the calls when I signed up to not receive these types... now it seems to be getting worse... USA don't allow teleemarketers.. why does Ca***a???

This is a telemarketing call for Bell. Thaye will send you a 'FREE' Bell LG cellphone, he wants name, address & SIN or credit card!!!!! He really wants both SIN & credit card. The company he works for is: Cellnet Wireless 3A 3012 17 Ave SE Calgary AB T2A 0P9 1-800-400-1469(Not in service) Peter Cooper gave me his ID #58226. He even offered to get his supervisor on the phone just to get a credit card & SIN. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANYTHING!!!!! MAJOR SCAM!!!!

The only thing I had to do was give my address. Oh yeah & my SIN & credit card info for "ID" purposes! Then he could sign me up with Bell Mobility. I received a call from this number, answered it with no response and an eventual disconnect.  I called it back to see who was calling. It rang 5 or 6 times and then a message kicked in saying the lines were all busy.Has anyone found out who this is?

We keep getting calls from this numer but when we answer there's no one there. If we ignore the call they never leave a message. How do you stop these annoying calls?

This number has called our home many times over the past several weeks. When we answer there's no one responding yet the line appears open. Caller ID shows this number.

This number has rung my home for the pst 10 days. They **** up after two rings and when I have tried to return the call I am told that the number does not exist

I am getting regular calls from 780-449-2088. They never leave a message and never seem to call when I am home.

Called and my daughter answered, I was in shower and s****ed asking where I was and what she was doing. Scared my daughter completely. Tried to call number but says that the phone company is unable to complete number as dialed. The person creeped her out completely.

This person is claiming to be someone that works for a debit ma****e company. Tried to get me to authorize a shipment to be sent to my work with cleaning tools and supplies for our debit ma****e. We all recieved an email last summer about a scammer thats going around and billing charges to businesses. He would not leave his name or his business and did not tell me which company he was with.. just kept insisting he needed to ship us the supplies at a locked in cheaper price as soon I said I recieved an email about this a while ago he ***g up

Two guys phoned and said hi and just s****ed swearing! 780 449-2088! We phoned Telus and they said it wasn't a Telus number when it is!

Guy does the old 'kerpal' 'you kick my dog'. Called roughly 10 times.

OOPS! So angry mistyped the TELUS "do not fax" warning number - it should be 866-617-6355. Note that the 780-449-2088 was used first, then

Computer fax dialler called four times in last 5 minutes. Usually spam or telemarketing faxes. TELUS makes money off this number as a long-distance or call-centre node which of course does not allow the recipient to return nor ID who is really calling. TELUS makes money off of useless caller ID, too! To add insult to injury, the TELUS automated number (866-817-6355) to have TELUS send a "do not fax" message to the sender is NOT followed up on. About as useful as a screen door on a submarine!

Number does not exist yet shows up on Caller ID....a message left stated she had "important do***ents" in my name and needed to be given to me in person. The number she gave is not in service.

Someone called me to do a survey from this number, and after I ***g up, I realized the volume of information i had given the caller. ******!

Well....a while back, we had to have our number c****ed because these *****s wouldn't stop calling. In fact, they were calling in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, they've s****ed up a***n. I think it's HBC (Zellers)

This number calls upwards of 10 times a day.  No Message(s) is/are ever left.
