They called me @ May 20 & 21, 2010, name display "U of A PRL".  I wasn't there to receive the call.

Also, oftentimes messages aren't left because the call deals with confidential information and they may not be sure that you are the only person who lives in the house (for example, if it was the university hospital calling, they wouldn't tell you what the results of your test were on an answering ma****e message.)

I'm not sure why exactly they called you, but I can tell you that all 780-492-**** numbers belong to the University of Alberta Campus (which includes the university itself, the hospital, the cross-cancer clinic... etc.)

They always call when I'm out and never leave a message. If callers don't leave a message, it must be very unimportant or a request for money. If its important, leave a message. If it's for a donation, I never give to telephone solicitations.

This call received Nov 13, 2008 was a survey for Alberta Health Services and University of Alberta funded by the Heart and ****** Foundation.  It was attempting to determine the state of health of citizens in the Capital Health region, and took about 20 minutes to answer the survey.  I was comfortable that this was a legitimate survey, and they did not ask me to reveal anything to identify myself.
