Craap. I got a call from this number and they said it was "Solar Mobility" I said I had never heard of it. They told me it was a division of Bell. They said I got a free cell phone with a 2 year contract and asked for my Address, and drivers licence number as well as my SIN. I didn't give them my SIN but did give them my driver's licence#. Now I am worried!!! What should I do??  Also sounded like an east Indian Accent.

They called me saying they were from Bell Mobility saying that I have won a free blackberry. I told them I have one and they ***g up.

I got a call from this number (7806283860) yes****ay, someone wanting to do a website for my business. I replied I dabble in my spare time and didn't need anyone else and the guy said "I don't think so..." I politely told him to F*** off and ***g up. The accent was nearly unintelligible, so much so I couldn't catch the business name. This **** was rude and pushy and if you get a call from this number, do yourself a favour and just don't answer!

Yup, same deal here.  They've called me about 6 times in the past hour and a half.  Good thing I read all this before answering!  Websites like this are really awesome. . .thanks to all of u!

I just received this call on my cell phone, I couldn't hear what they were saying at all. I think I maybe caught 3 words.Lots of noise in the background, lady with an east-Indian like accent.  SCAM.Glad there are sites like this. I googled the number after I ***g up.Too easy to fall for scams, unfortunate that some people do, but hopefully we can all be smart about these kinds of things.

780-628-3860 keeps on calling my home number.  When I call back, it says this feature is not on my list.  Who or what could this be?

My wife received a small envelope in the mail from a Ft. McMurray Alberta address with legible but not the best writing. I called it back and it said "This is Fred and Ava - we have taken the time to call you so please take the time to call us back" YA RIGHT!!!!scammers!

Just got that call from 780 628 3860 on MY CELL PHONE. The background was noisy so I didn't know really what he was saying so I ***g up. It was like they were calling from a busy mall or so****ing. About 2 minutes later they called back a***n, I opened my phone and listened for a second and ***g up and turned off my phone. Ten minutes later I turned it back on and so far no call from that number. I heard about this call before and it is a scam. They will ask for CC or SIN information. Don't give this out.

Please pass on the info about the Government of Ca***a's "Do-Not-Call" list, and the info about Shaw Cables Phone Service "Selective Call Blocking" (Read Previous Post [*60]) on to your friends and family.  It may help with the high climb of these ******ed calls as of a few years back.  Any idiot with a phone thinks he can scam people.  Get a real ****ing Job. I'm really glad you made it somewhere in life...

780-628-3860 Phoned me earlier today, I was not home, so I called back when I noticed the number on my called ID showing up as "Unavailable", I blocked my number first then Dialed their number, just beeping, no answer.  These ****ly faced teenagers and *****ic adults are getting on my nerves, I just *60 then press #01# for shaw digital phone, and it blocks the last caller.  Not available for Shaw Digital Phone Basic, must be light, or the Full Digital Phone Service.  Hope this helps with these ****** calls, or just google the Government of Ca***a's "Do-Not-Call" List.  And add your number to it.  (Problem is that some of these bozo's download that list and use it for their illegal calls, instead of following the law as required for telemarketers etc..)

Caller offered free Phone and would not let me speak to his supervisor.

I'm continuously receiving calls from this #, but no answer. I got 2 calls from the # 12121212121 on the 9th of april(first time I didn't pick up)...the guy was inquiring about some free phone stuff. He sounded east indian. I said no, and ***g up...and now this...who is this dude?

I s****ed getting these calls on March 17, 2008 - to my cell phone (which is costly and annoying).  I call back and it is an immediate dead call...NO RING...no voicemail....just a quick click.
