Leave a CommentJust wanted to log another victim of "Eliot"
Like others have said, he is a scammer 100%, flat tire story, I felt bad for him. It was at Back Bay Station. If you see this man, please hit him.
Scammer alert: he seems to tell the same story every time.
I did my best to poke holes in his story outside of south station. Same as the rest, well dressed black man who claimed he needed a can of fix-a-flat. I asked if he tried mbta police, he said there's nothing they could do, i asked if there was anyone else he could call he said he had exhausted all opportunities, I even asked where he would get the fix-a-flat and he had a hardware store he was heading to on the T. Yep, I knew I was getting duped, got ****ered anyway. Eliot.
Got me at earlier today. Knew so****ing was up but at the same time feel bad if someone didn't help. I guess some people need to make money somehow...
Got me in Kendall Square for $13.50, upped to $40. Ran into him a***n two days later and had a confrontation with him. He became defensive and left.
He got me too a month or so ago. He's about 5'4", African American, wore a suit and gl*****, and went by Elliot. Same thing with the flat tire. He upped it from $13.50 to $55 for me. ****s.
I got the same flat tire story. Gave him $20, and was pretty sure I got conned right away. Called the police, and they weren't too interested.
He told me his son was locked in his car...sickens me to think someone could tamper with emotions like that to scam honest people out of money. I hope he ends up in a jail someday.
Same thing happened to me at Jackson Square in JP. What a ****.
Same thing here. Really ****s, I trusted that dude.
Same thing...got me coming off work at Brigham Circle stop. Hope I see him a***n sometime
I knew so****ing was up as he said $13.95 but c****ed it to $35. I gave him $15 because I felt bad and had a feeling when I called the number and his phone didn't ring. I was ******, should've made him call me to be sure. Whatever lesson learned. People like him make us lose faith in humanity
Should have known so****ing was up. Yeah this guy is a con. Got me coming off of work so I was tired and didn't really think much of his story. It happens exactly like how the others describe. Ah well, this is a lesson learned.
scammed for $10 @ South Station. He's good though. The ******s should take notes.
This guy's a pro con artist. Same flat tire story mentioned by others. He was waiting for people outside Back Bay station in Boston.
Same thing happened to me right by government center in Boston. He have me the cell number 781-400-3992 to call and he also c****ed the number from 13.95 to 35. It was a complete scam.
Happened to me exactly as scripted as both the Dylan's here, except it was outside Boston Children's Hospital. Said he needed 13.50, c****ed it to 35. Gave a nice sob story about leaving his wallet at home.
Same story happened to me as Dylan Lucas. A black guy in a nice suit stopped me just outside the Inn At Longwood in Boston while he was apparently on the phone saying his son was up the steeet with a flat tire. He said he needed $13.95 and all I had on me was $5. He said there was an atm just down the street. Being a Christian and gullible I ignorsd the red flags and went with him to the atm where it c****ed to $30.95. He said his name was Elliot and gave me this number so I could call him back in the morning to get the money back. There were so many questions I should've asked him, but didn't. He's now $45 richer because of my ******ness.
Had a flat tire, needed a lift and $13.95, then c****ed it to $30.95. Then asked if I could give him more. I told him I had to go to the ATM at which point he said no. But then c****ed his mind and asked if I could. This number is a cell phone burn phone.
