this call came at 6:27pm. no message. called it back, busy, busy, busy. no id on my caller id either.

just got a call from 781=471=4398 saying my globe account was past due.  they wanted cc # to make sure my service wasn't interrupted.  said they had an cc # of mine already w/ exp date of 6/11.  i told them to send a bill & i'd be happy to pay, but there was NO WAY i was giving cc # over the phone to someone who's called me.  called the globe itself.  they have no cc # for me, but gave them this info.

This is a scam person with a landline #......BLOCK THEM! it is as easy as that:)

This number and 978-767-4233 are Boston Globe Marketers - Call 888-MYGLOBE and tell them to remove your number from their call marketing list.

I have received numerous calls from both these numbers!  I am calling the Globe to complain!

Yeah they just called me a few minutes ago. I said*****o and got no answer. I said*****o a***n and received a response of a man saying "Hello, my name is Charles and thank you." then a **** up. It was one of the weirdest things that's ever happened to me..

repeatedly calls. leaves no message. get a voicemail recording everytime you call back. left a message to stop calling and then they called back within the hour and a***n left no message

I would like NO MORE CALLS from this company and/or number. There is no information or person to speak to when I call back. Please STOP CALLING!!!!

I have received at least one call per day from this phone number - i do not answer I let go to my voice mail - however they never leave a msg. I wish they would STOP- If this is a bill collector - I am current on any and all my bills I AM NOT BEHIND ON ANYTHING. My complaints are the same as above.  I have looked into who this number belongs to.  Someone mentioned two companies-Teleport Communications and Level 3 Communications.  Anyone else hear about these???? Thanks

Everytime I answer this call someone is on the other end ...I say*****o a couple of times and that someone never responds. Sometimes they call and say nothing a few times a day.

This seems to be a telemarketing phone number used by out-of-state telemarketers working for the Boston Globe.  The individual who called me today lives in P***nix, AZ.  It is possible that some of the mass repe***ion of calls happens because more than one telemarketer is using the line and working from a list of names.  Best bets are to sign on to the 'do not call' registry and report any infringements thereafter.  If not possible, perhaps calling the Globe and getting them to reign in their ads might help.

We're getting these ****ups too.  Su****iously we're also getting them from another Globe marketer at 978-767-4233.  Very irritating, calls a couple times a day.  The other number lists a Globe advocate to call at****-929-2233.

Calls every few days in the morning.

This number keeps calling, at least 3-4 times per week. No one is there when the phone is answered.

Called. No message. no ID but "Dedham" on the caller ID.

These people call all day, everyday, all because I scaled down my Boston Globe delivery.

We are getting these calls on our home phone.  Today once in the morning and tonight at 8:15 p.m.  I Googled the number and came up with a zillion complaints about this number.  If this is actually someone soliciting for the Boston Globe, they better hope I don't answer.

He just called a***n!  He's trying to sell the Boston Globe.  Just gave him an earful.  Don't want any old, wet news.

guy calls my home all time - I know its a guy because my kid picked up once and I heard him saying*****o,*****o...called back the number several times - always busy.

I got this call @ 8:00PM today and yes****ay I got a call from****-910-4798. Both of these numbers are from the Boston Globe. When you call them back they are both always busy.
