ok I called comcast and this is what you do,when the phone rings and you know who it is **** up,wait a few seconds and do this,,push talk{dial} then press *60#01#,after this **** up and this # will be blocked,do this with any #,,by the way when you are pressing in this code if you hear a recording listen to it and follow directions,,if none of this works call your phone co and get# blocked by them or have them set it up on your phone so you can block any#you want,,,hope this was helpful,

They continue to call despite request to take off list.  They have even stooped to using * number to disquise MAFOP caller ID.  They wont say a word when I answer (husband) because I have already berated them.  When my wife answers private caller and it is them, they act as though she is an old friend.  She has also requested that we not be called back a***n to no avail.  They have called numerous times since then.  By disquising their number, they almost guarantee that we answer the phone- we have several sick relatives and all of their numbers are private so we have no alternative but to answer.  I have filed complaint with BBB and will eventually track them down at Paetec in Boston if necessary, to harrass them.

Calls 3 times a day s****ing at 8am

This is the Mass Fraternal Order of Police. They call me several times a day, often before 9am on weekends, and they even called me the morning of Easter Sunday. Abusive and you can't find an address to write to them to get off their list.

We get 2 to 3 calls EVERY day, early morning and late night, includind weekends.Never a***n a donation to this aggressive abusive company.Please help! I have sick family members and these early ,late calls are very scary!!!!!!!

I just got the third call today from this number which does come up in caller ID as MAFOP.  I learned from previous experience not to answer this call and they can call until the cows come home (never) and I refuse to answer.  I also made the mistake of once donating to them and yes, they have be especially persistant and I will never donate to them a***n.  I cannot afford, in this economy, to even donate to the causes I ordinarily would give to and I am surely not giving MAFOP anything.

I activated my telephone carrier's "selective call block" feature, entered their phone number, and the constant calls from their number/MAFOP and interestingly enough even the ones that came up as "UNKNOWN" have stopped!!  The offending caller is supposed to just get a polite message that says I am not accepting calls at this time, or so****ing to that effect.

Called at 8:00am EST and 4:45pm today (6/11/09). When I picked up no answered phone. I gave a donation to MAFOP last year. Looks like they are after people who gave donations in the past. These calls are annoying as the caller id shows up "Unavailable" or "Unknown". You can't tell whether you have genuine call or someone calling for donations.

All charities are exempt from the Do Not Call list.This "charity" is MAFOP.  They call constantly.  I made the mistake of donating to them once because they led me to believe they were my local town police looking for a donation, which I do contribute to once a year, but then I got the bill in the mail and apparently 85% of this "charity's" collected funds go to administrative costs.  Sounds more like a FOR PROFIT racket to me, I will never answer their calls a***n.  But they will hound you and there is nothing you can do about it.  Currently they call about 2 or 3 times a day and have done so for about a week and a half.  For a while they go away, but I know from experience they will be back.

this number "781-884-2843" is from MAFOP which is suppose to be donations to some police fund, which by the way, is not tax deductible.  They call at all hours s****ing early in the morning until after 9 pm.  They are rude and a***sive.  When they call, if my daughter tells them I am not home they attept to solicit donations from her.  Other times they just **** up when told i am not at home.  They should be investigated because I really believe they are a pretty shady bunch.

These clowns some how get by the telemarketing "do not call" listing for some reason. i googled MAFOP and was surprised to find several sites with complaints about them. Maybe the BBB can do some thing. They call at all hours, early morning 8:30 today 2/14/09 and around 9pm a couple nights ago. They have called probably 10-12 times. They will not leave a message. They called us 8:30 AM today and waked me up. I think this is *****chusetts Fraternal Order of Police. They called us before asking for donation.

They have called 3 times over the last 2 days... Left no message. It's a land line and the number is owned by Paetec Communications... No repretable company uses these 3rd party providers.

Called at 6:30pm EST yes****ay (6-Jan-09).  Didn't leave a message.  So far it's only the first call from this number I'm aware of, but in light of other reports about this number I'd like to put a stop to it before it s****s.
