continues to call - never leaves messages.

I get calls from this number at least 3 times a day.  I answer and no one is there.  I called the number back and the recording said it has be disconected.

these people are calling me every day and just s****ed calling me at 9 pm at night.  I am so ticked off it isn't funny.

19 minutes,17 seconds thats how long it took to get a person on the line when I called back the number.  Thank god for speaker phone.  I felt like they were trying to play terrible audio so I would give up and **** up.  They are Contact America like a another complaint had stated.  I questioned why they call peoples numbers and dont say anything.  Contact America stated they are having problems with their own phones.So I guess we all have to suffer.  The sooner you get taken off their list the better, just be prepared to wait a long time:(

05-08-2008 got a phone from this number ****ed me off stop callingi anwsered and no one said anything...went to check it online...and see that there is many complains...great just what i need...someone calling me all day and not saying a thing when i anwser....

We got these calls several weeks back for about 4 days then it stopped. 3 days ago it s****ed back up with 2 calls a day... Same as all the rest answer and get background noise but no answer.

The same has happened for a month at my home.  I have reported this to the Do Not Call registry.

If you need to call me, at least be polite enough to talk when I pick up the phone. Your calls are annoying and they need to stop.

I REALLY WISH that we could get some privacy from this private caller, STOP CALLING US........ALL OF US!!!!!!!!!!

Same time every day...answer and they **** up immediately.

This number calls my house every day in the morning and someone lisines for a minut and ****es up if your having the same problem then Gmail me at [email protected] and we will contackt the right athoraties

It was advising me about a promotion for all Fashion Bug card members.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER FOR OVER 2 WEEKS.  WHEN I ANSWER THEY JUST **** UP.  I CALLED BACK AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR SEVERAL MINUTES AT "CONTACT AMERICA", SO I ***G UP.  VERY ANNOYING!!!!

i just got called today 5/5/08 but it only rang for a split second before ****ing up. i called it and got a recording for 'contact america'. i do have an account with fashion bug, but i am not late on any payments ^^

Got a call today 5/3/08 from this number.  I picked up and the ****s didnt say anything.  What is the point of that??????

When I called this number, I was put on hold for 5 minutes after which I ***g up.  The automated message identified itself as Contact America.  Of course, I was never given a c****e to leave a message.  I will contact the FTC.

I've received daily calls from this number for 2 weeks now...perhaps longer. I now see the number and let it ring. They never stay on long enough to even reach my voice mail but the ringing is VERY annoying. I appreciate the other's comments and the info. from John too.

I have been getting calls from this number daily for over a week now.  After seeing that others have had this same issue I called the number back.  I was put in touch with a customer service rep for Contact America after only waiting on hold for maybe 2 minutes and they informed me that they are an outbound call center that calls on behalf of financial ins***utions.  If you have an account with Fashion Bug, Gordmans, Citibank and a few others that I cannot remember, then you could be subject to calls from this company.  I told the rep that I did not have any accounts through these financial ins***utions and she put me on their "Do Not Call" list.  Let's hope I put an end to it!

When I called this number, I got a message from "In Touch America" or so****ing of the sort. I ***g up and put the number on my "rejected call list" through my cell phone.

I get a lot of calls from this number too.  They never leave a message and if I answer,no one is there.  Today (4-11-08) I heard a man with a southern accent calling me by name when he thought he had gotten through on my ma****e.  Still no message, but have his voice saying my name recorded.

Quit calling me!  I've been receiving calls from this number for the past week, sometimes up to 3 calls a day.  I don't answer!  Thanks for the info!

Unwanted call - telemarketer

this number has been calling me as well ... at least once or twice a day .. I don't answer it and won't .. but how can I block it or stop it?  I'm in the DoNotCall registry ...

This number calls frequently. Took another persons advice and click to answer and very quickly **** up, then they think it isn't a working number.  Hasn't stopped them but has slowed them down alot.

It's a telemarketer for some company that sells credit protection. Apparently if you have a Lane Bryant, or Fashion Bug card, your number has been given out on a sales list!

This number calls my cell phone several times a day

I keep getting calls from this number. When I answer it it just ****s up. If you call back the number its a busy signal.
