(786) 221-1775

Received a phone call from a man identifying himself as Officer Steve Martin.  The number came up as 786-221-1775 but with no company name.  More importantly he called me at my work and said that I did some fraudulent actions on behalf of the company I work for and that an officer is on the way to pick me up.  I have received a call similar to this one before.  It is a simple collection company whose task is to use the threat of imprisonment as a means to get you to pay off the debt.  I will contact my lawyer and have him give "Officer" Martin a call and express his opinion about him impersonating an officer of the law to his client.

Okay, The guys who call are not located in US.. They use a VOIP line... I wonder how a florida lawyer can help...

Officer Steve is how he identifies himself. Florida #....he begins by stating that he has contacted my place of employment's HR department and an officer will be there to arrest me for a criminal matter. I told him that it sounded like a threat. He ****s up and calls back several times making comments about my at***ude and I think I am above the law and it is no joke. There will be an officer sent to arrest me. I asked him to give me details and I would resolve the matter because I have no idea WHAT he is talking about. He won't give any other info just continues to call and threaten. I contacted local police. Lawyer referral told me that I would need a Florida attorney.
