This is a total scam! The guy said someone made a "complaint" a***nst my husband, but didn't know what it was. He couldn't even tell me if it were legal or financial. He s****ed getting nervous and defensive when I s****ed asking questions and told him this didn't sound legit. He gave me a "case" number, to which I replied, "what kind of case?" He continued to be defensive and said my husband would have to call with his social security number. I was like, yeah right, we're going to call a random number and give out his social security number?! By this point he just blurted out the 1-800-829-1831 number to call and said to tell them "Mike Johnson" with Accufile had told us to call. Ha! I immediately got online to look up the number and saw both the number the guy called from and the number he gave me are****ociated with scamming people out of money. Disgusting.

They called my brother in law saying the same thing we should Get there info and s**** a harassment law suit.....they SCARED THE***** OUT OF ME AND MY FAMILY......

They contacted me claiming they were sending a Sheriff to serve me with papers for a lawsuit, I was like for what?? They don't know they were hired to locate me, gave me another number and case number, it is to try and collect on a Sprint Bill from 2001. It is 2014, I said to them are you freaking serious, the statute of limitations on debt collection in Florida is 4 yrs. The original account was actually older than that, they claimed they received it in 2009 and now they contact me another 5 yrs later. I told them they better get their legal department to call me. The people from this number tried to intimidate me like they were calling from a Sheriff's office. I was furious. Bunch of****holes trying to collect on debts over 10 yrs old. But I do note that they put it on my credit report so time to report them to the FTC under the fair credit report act.
