This is not the Police Department calling you for donations. It is a professional fundraiser calling on behalf of a police union or****ociation. The Paid fundraiser can take as much as 99% of your donation. Then they use that 99% to call you a***n and a***n and a***n for more donations that will do no good for your Police Department or anyone else for that matter. Your best bet is to **** up the phone and if you want to give to the police then call your local police department by getting their number out of the phone book. I have been getting calls from here all hours of the day no answer and no messages would like them to stop or answer so I can tellthem what I think when calling back it does not go to the police dept.Just a recording and **** up.

I also have just s****ed to receive phone calls from this name (FL FOP) After reading all of these comments and discovering that this may go on for months, maybe years, I am not looking forward to it!! How can  they be stopped???

I too am getting these annoying phone calls. I do not answer but have received from three different numbers: 786-358-5695; 786-358-5670; 786-358-5***. Previously I was receiving other annoying calls from organization saying I could get $3000 in federal grant money with energy repairs for my house. They finally stopped when I stopped answering the phone. Now I am getting phone calls from FL FOP. The DO NOT CALL list is a big joke. I figure if these people are calling me with a long distance number it is costing them money even if I do not answer.

Same scam different phone number.  I have to pay for *69. Because of the number of unwanted, unsolicited phone calls, I wasn't even answering my phone. This week I decided to take control back for my phone. These Fraternal Order of Police calls have been going on for years. Repeatedly we have told them not to call and remove our phone number. We are on a DO NOT CALL list but I think it should be called the DO CALL list. When I PAID to use the *69 it gave me the phone number 786-358-5***. When the number is called you get "Your call cannot be completed as dialed V1001".

I know what you mean I"ve been getting the same calls like 2 xs a day for the last two months and no one will answer when I answer the phone, I've just let it ring and have the ma****e pick up but of course they don't leave a message and I sometimes just hit the talk ****on and then the off ****on right away just to make it stop ringing, I too wish these calls would stop and I don't know what to do about them either.  The phone company is no help on this either.  If any one out there is having the same problem with these calls please advise on how to handle them.  I"m also tired of them coming at all times of the day.  I always check the caller ID too to see who is calling and when I see it's them I just **** it up.

FOP keeps calling my home phone number asking for donations to the Police. The number that is on my Caller ID is (786) 358-5543. I am on the DO NOT CALL List   my phone number is (386) 532-2975Please get these people stopped. This is a scam. Why are they always asking for money from people multiple times per year and they call many times per day.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on floridastatefop.org, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Florida police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

This is very aggravating when you have business to take care of.

Many calls from 8 AM until 10:30 PM.  I wish these calls would stop.  Today they asked for Jack.I normally check the caller ID first and don't answer but today I was expecting a call so I forgot to check the caller ID.

Why can't we stop these people from calling us! Why isn't anyone in authority doing sometihing to trace these cowards!!! Police can see where the land line is. GO AND GET THEM!!!!  GIVE THEM HUGE FINES!!!!!

Contiinue to get calls from this number but don't pick them up.  They are annoying.

As the others have said they are not the police.And the police get a very small amount of the money.They get by with it as they are registered as none profit,Sure they are.The police mite get 15 percent of the money.

HERE IS ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER FOR THE Fraternal Order of Police.  THEY ARE SPENDING A MINT ON JUST GETTING ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS.  WHY SHOULD THE PUBLIC CONTINUE TO DONATE WHEN THEY SPEND MORE MONEY ON OBTAINING DONATIONS THEN WHAT IS TURNED OVER TO THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE???  GETTING REAL TIRED OF GETTING THEIR CALLS.  IN ADDITION, YES I AM YELLING.  I AM GETTING REAL ****ED OFF.  CAN'T WE HAVE THEM ARRESTED FOR HARASSMENT????

FL FOP FNDN. Repated calls despite DNC registration. Never anyone there when I answer. Calls have been outside of legal call times for Florida as early as 8:20 am. I wish someone would be there when I answer I have some unpolite words for them. Obviously a SCAM. Cops don't call you and ask for money.
