Call from person stating that they were calling to give a cancellation # for a yellow pages ad that was being cancelled. Wanted to transfer me to another party after I agreed to such. Mentioned an amount due on the account, and continued to request my agreement to be switched to another party so that they could give me the cancellation #. When I refused to say anything except that I was not agreeing to anything & that I wanted the cancellation #, they said that they could not give it until I agreed. I ***g up and they did not call back.

They never take you off of the list!

caller left no message and the Caller ID says "not in use"

They have called twice today, first time no one on the other line, second time I waiting until they finally got on the line. Indian accent male stating my companies name, I just ***g up. If they call me back I think I'm going to **** my train horn into the phone piece :) I would hate to have there job, pennies on the dollar to lie to people everyday.

It was an automated number removal database when I called. It asked me to press 1 if I would like my number removed from their list!! Jen in CA
