Leave a CommentHe said my spouse had won a Publishers Warehouse raffle of $1.5 and we would need to make a 5% payment for IRS. He said he could find a sponsor to help us with half of the payment.
The individual I spoke with on the call said his name was ****million. The phone number he gave me to reach him was (786) 862-7502
Call was a scam. I responded to a billing from Norton which was not real. I lost $400, my monthly income each month is $1224. I am 79 years of age and have no other income. The scam call was placed on 7/28/2021. I was due to receive my monthly SSA check on 8/3, which will now be returned to SSA so that it can be sent to new checking account at my bank. SSA does not know how long this will take. The bank immediately closed the older account and has issued a new account. Right now my balance is $0 with my rent and other bills due at this time. I just wanted to report this transaction as the original e-mail stated it was sent to Norton. I am very confused as to what my options, if any, are available to me to try and have the $400 acknowledged by someone, hoping it may lead to a reimbur*****t. Mary J. Jay*** (816) 392-7678. Please give me some direction.
