I got a call from 787-980-6851 asking me to wire $2500 to save somebody's life...I play along...the guy is an idiot and IT IS A SCAM.

Someone who calls himself Jose calls form this number claiming that a relative of yours got into an accident with his nephew and that the nephew is in the hospital with his mother(Jose’s mother). He goes on stating that your relative did a hit and run and his brother chased your relative and they s****ed fighting because your relative s****ed getting ****** with him; allegedly during the fight his brother pulled out a gun and kidnaped your relative and they are now demanding that you pay them money to cover the hospital bills if not they will **** your relative. During the whole conversation they try to avoid you from getting off the phone (by making you think they will **** your relative if you **** up the phone) to avoid you from calling and verifying on your relative that they reportedly have kidnaped. The phone is a prepaid phone as it was looked up and is not registered to anyone. Several police reports have been made and the police are aware of the situation. If this occurs to you the best route is to make a police report because after several reports the police fraud unit will get involved and hopefully catch the person or people involved.
