These calls are coming from an 800 number apparently****ociated with CheapTickets.com When I called CheapTickets on their Customer Service number (not the 800 number they used to call me) to be placed on their "do not call" list, the rep informed me that Cheap Tickets is a part of Orbitz and that they are using Orbitz records to contact people. He claimed that there was a place on my Orbitz account where I can indicate I don't want to receive calls. I couldn't find it.So I got on the Orbitz site and contacted a customer service rep through their chat feature. I explained the situation. She asked for my email, my name, my billing zip code and the number of the phone where I am receiving the calls. After a brief wait, she said "I have submitted your record on the do not call list. The removal  of the phone number from the database may take up to 2-3 business days."Here's hoping. So contact Orbitz, not Cheap Tickets.

here is other information****ociated with this fraud:  a false zipcode given to me by my credit card company that was****ociated with person posing as  a Cheap Trips worker - 65792.  Also this number, 1-800-770-2042    and 1 800 211 5119    and 1888 248 1402  .  He also gave me this email [email protected], which is not a real address.

I filed a police report today as someone who used that number posed as a cheap trips person. I am a member of cheap trips. I bought airplane tickets, I thought, from him. I never got the tickets and they charged me four times more than I agreed on.  I froze my credit card and contacted the better business bureau.  My person said he was Charles. There is a woman also working with him who pretends to be someone at Cheap trips answering the phone.

Avoid Cheap Trips at all costs, or it'll cost you. The offers they make over the phone sound too good to be true. Well guess what, they are. But the offer of a prompt refund plus getting to keep some of the coupons makes it sound low-risk. The offer I received in the mail was NOTHING like the offer made on the phone. This was in May 2009 and I'm still trying to get my $108.95 refund. I'm going to my Attorney General on Monday...

I have been getting calls from this phone number for the last few days - perhaps about 6 or 7 times in the last few days.  The one time I answered it they didn't say anything back...so I'm no longer answering when they call in.  I wish they would leave me alone!  I also noted, that they never leave a message.

Continued daily calls, 2-3 times a day, at the same time each day. If I answer they just **** up. Calling the number back just results it ringing and ringing.

I continually receive calls for this number. I talked with someone the first time and told them that the person they were trying to contact was not the person at the number they were calling. I requested they not call a***n. They just continue on a regular basis, now about once per week. I don't understand what their point is if I do not answer the call!

These people call me at least twice a day and say nothing. Usually I ignore it because it comes up "unknown". This last time I answered a***n just to shut them up, but they s****ed speaking to me in some foreign language and when I questioned them they ***g up. I will not answer a***n unless I have a ****horn handy.

When I answered today they stated that there is no call list and that I am a member of their company. When I asked for the name of the company they ***g up on me.

The call to my cell phone is a prerecorded message about a radio station deal. i called back and it was Cheap Trips. They said they cannot prevent my number from receiving calls because they said I or someone enters it on the website...which I know I haven't done. They call me 1-3 times a day for the past 4 months.

I called this # after repeated calls and someone answered identifying themselves at 'Cheap Trips'. I asked to be removed from the calling list - they said sure. I got 2 more calls the next day.

My cell phone rings once and ****s up. I called the number back and got a recorded message that it is the mail box of cheaptrips.com. I was getting daily calls from them in August and made them take me off their list. Now I'm back on the daily call list.

I get ever day call from this number no one say why they called while still callng me

I have had anonymous calls from this number since 8/16/08 they call, **** up, or listen, saying nothing. on 8/15 I received one call, 8/16 3 calls, 8/18 I got calls 8/19 I got 2 calls and 8/28 I got 2 calls. They seem to be getting info on me through my computer.
