Steven harris also uses a computer generated "Jack Smith" name with the same rude and loud tone to illegally intimidate you into paying zombie loans for these wretched bottom feeding s*** bags. Ignore these criminals
FYI - It looks like "Steven Harris" is also "Jim Bell" ---- Same ***ue and leading questions/statements and admits to representing "MRS****OCIATES" only after being lead to believe you would actually respond to his "urgent" notification. WARNING -- COMMON SENSE SAYS DON'T VOLUNTEER SO MU;CH AS ONE BIT OF THE INFORMATION HE TRIES TO LEAD YOU INTO REVEALING -- INCLUDING YOUR NAME OR RELATIONSHIP TO THE PERSON HE IS TRYING TO REACH!!!!LEGAL RULE OF THUMB --- "IF IT AIN'T IN WRITING, IT AIN'T"!!!!LET HIM PAY THE PRICE OF POSTAGE FROM THE GOOD OLE U.S. POST OFFICE THUS PLACING A RESERVATION FOR A VACATION AT "CLUB FED" FOR MAIL FRAUD.
This clown (Steven Harris) loads my answering ma****e with veiled threats. He plays the tape loop until my answering ma****e is full. He is extremely unprofessional ... He states, "I have your (doesn't even address me by name) do***ents (what do***ents?) and I need to make an immediate decision (what decision?) and implies a veiled threat if you do not call back. I have recorded several of these calls to send to some government agency that will put this joker in the position he's put us in. He calls all days of the week at all hours. Wish I could meet him in person ...
Yes this "Steven Harris" clown leaves an angry toned message, which i would say is arguably in voiolation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. he sound more like a leg breaking mobster then anything else. Keep track of his messages and sue him in federal court for $1,000 for each offense.
3/15/2010 @ 10:00AM EDST - Received four phone calls from Stephen Harris (Caller IS is New York, NY 1-800-213-9519). Caller introduces himself and threateningly states that he has received your records and he must make a decision ASAP. (Implication: You are in trouble if you do not call back). The caller does not give name of person he is calling - obviously yet another scam.Is there some government agency I can report this to? It has gone past the nuisance stage since this phone number has been calling me incessantly for a week now. Four times in one morning is too much !!
These guys are just lowlife debt collectors. The reason this plays over and over is becuase its spinning on auto dialer software. Unless you've been served with papers, all their ****** threats about being arrested and wage garnishment is just that...emtpty threats. I work in this field and "agencies" like these are laughed at. Don't let them intimidate you, just pick up and **** up the phone.
Want to know how one man deals with these unwanted calls? Some very informative info. at the bottom of the page. The website URL is http://www.wargs.com/misc/lynn.html (might explain why I get calls for a 'Mrs. Wynn') Probably from Asia.
I get phone calls every single day from "Steven Harris" (a recording) telling me to call an 800 number. Veiled threats, etc.. The same recorded message plays over and over and over and over ad nauseum. Three calls completely fill my answering ma****e and I can't receive messages from family, physicians, people I have business with, and others. I have no idea who calls if I miss a call. Strangest of all, I have no idea if it is even directed at me, because what kind of idiot would call an 800 number to have some ******ic, law breaking loser abuse them over a debt. I don't even know what it's about. I get calls for a "Mrs. Wynn (Winn) all the time - from Asia (outsourced bill collections), Mexico, and India, as well. Yes, folks, your sensitive privacy information is going all over the world. You think American bill collector losers are bad even with the Fair Debt Credit Reporting Law? They don't have those laws overseas and they are awake when we sleep. @#$%^&*() I asked the phone company to give me a ***nd new number ***ody ever had before and suddenly I got inundated by bill collection calls. It's bad enough if they are calling me on 10 to 15 years past the statute of limitations, which have already been disposed of. I'm terminally ill with cancer, heart disease, severe diabetes, and other conditions. I'm not supposed to be stressed in any form whatever. I'm supposed to REST and sleep as much as possible. I'm not supposed to lift things over 8 pounds. I'm going blind and deaf as well, and I need two hip replacements, back surgery, and a knee replacement (which I'm not getting - why, in my state of health. The pain I'm in is excruciating. My loans were forgiven when I was adjudicated unemployable and unable to work. Does that stop these abusive collection agencies holding ancient paper from years ago when they keep selling them to other agencies after finally figure out they are whipping a dead horse? Noooooooooooo. My ***her died a couple of weeks ago and because my recorder was full of 'Steven Harris' calls, the family couldn't even leave a message telling me he died. I had to walk in over at his house to check on him, have the collected family members say they'd been trying to contact me, and go back to the bedroom to find him dead on the bed with my traumatized mom clinging to him and bawling (they were married 66 years). I hope someone kicks this credit collection agency's **** in court and puts them out of business FOR GOOD! I'm now busy recording the recorded 'Steven Harris' messages from my answering ma****e onto micro-cassettes to send to the feds, my local police, and the State Attorney general along with complaint forms. Maybe they'll get the message by hearing these abusive messages, like I have to. Good luck to ya'll.
This number is a debt collection agency called MRS****ociates. Send them a cease and desist letter at 1930 Olney Ave., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
Left a voicemail on my cellphone. NOT AT ALL APPRECIATED!
I have received several calls from the same "Steven Harris". The voice mail was a looped message claiming that an "Account he has been made aware of earlier this morning". Claims it is urgent that I get back to him before he makes his final decision.
I also received a call from "Steven Harris" the caller ID said from out of aera. Same thing the voicemail was a looped recording said the same as all the other people put.

I received a voicemail on my home phone from a 'Steven Harris' that said to call back this phone number. The voicemail was a looped recording saying so****ing about "an account that he has been made aware of and this is his attempt to contact me before he makes a final decision." He didn't even say what kind of account or an account number. I ***g up.
I received a phone call from Steven Harris. The recording was not clear. It said so****ing about an account and this was his attempt to contact me before a final decision was made. It didn't say who he was trying to reach or for whom he was representing. If he was legit he should leave better info
They call constantly and do not specify any reason for calling. I believe its a scam and would like them to stop calling.
I received a voicemail on my work phone from a 'Steven Harris' that said to call back this phone number. The voicemail was a looped recording saying so****ing about "an account that he has been made aware of and this is his attempt to contact me before he makes a final decision." Yeah, whatever. Didn't even say what kind of account or an account number. When I called the number back today, the recording said it was MRS****ociates. I didn't wait around to get transferred to a person; I just ***g up. If it's really important, they'll call a***n.
It s****s "Hello, my name is Stven H..." then the voice says I must urgently contact 1-800-213-9519 or a decision that affects me will be made without my input. My name or who the call is for is not stated. It is a recorded message and repeats indefinetly. I know, I listened over a dozen times while I looked this up. =) Pushing ****ons does not provide other options. No information on the nature of the call is given.
