Thanks Josh. I called the # you posted. They wanted my name - No way. They said they were with Verizon. They told me some other name they were trying to contact. I told them to take me off list, I was not that person. Then I called Verizon and reported them. I suggest others do the same without calling the 800# back. My Verizon office was ****ed.

That is one shady company. Infamous! I hope their clients Google them. Perhaps they don't care either that innocents are  harassed daily.

I'm getting this call twice a day at least."This is Michael Green, I have an important personal business matter to discuss with you.  For resolution please call me back at this number 800-236-3796 and then the number is repeated.The message does not identify who the message is for or what company they are calling fromI called the number...they answer "National Enterprise Industries"  I asked what type of company they are.  The man said it was a law office.  He did not ask my name but asked my phone number.  The name he attached to my telephone number was for a family member.  This is for sure a scam for iden***y theft or so****ing like that.  My family membar called and was told it was for collection on a Verizon bill from 2002.  For a cell number no longer in use.  Payment would only be accepted over the phone.  They wouldn't send this alleged past due bill.  No information was provided over the phone.  Lets see if we continue to receive the calls.

Well, it's worked for me so far. No calls since I complained and was ***g-up on. I am convinced the guy did **** up on me now. They are probably tired of hearing people give them an earful. If I worked for this company, I'd look for a better job. I'll bet ***ody at the top of the company cares about what's going on in the trenches. Collections companies are not exactly known for their patience. Anyone getting calls from this company, if you know you don't owe anybody then I'd advise you to call them and keep calling until you get someone to take your number off their automated contacts list. Don't give out any info, just ask to match the name they have with your number (which they know already). My number was****ociated with some stranger, def not me! It is not right for them to be bothering people repeatedly with their excessive, obnoxious voice mails and calls. I put up with it for too long before finally contacting them. After about 30 rings, I think, they finally answered. If they continue to bother you, complain higher to the BBB in their state/county--or directly mail Nat'l Enterprise as they do have an actual address on their website. They should be held liable for their harassing business practices and we should not have to be c****ing our phone numbers or, as in my case, lose units/minutes on a pay-as-you-go phone. Good luck. Anybody from Nat'l Enterprise reading this? Good. You're becoming infamous.

I keep getting a call from these guys as well.

I should note, instead of saying "it works" to, I HOPE it works as they said they would take 24 hours before I'm "off the list." And yes, I had the same experience, they were RUDE and ***g up on me!!

I just c****ed my phone number and as soon as I did I got same f!#@ing thing!! Call the number and the extention.. it works to get your number removed. Thank you Jesus to w***ver wrote the number and extention!!

I s****ed getting these calls about four days ago left on my answering ma****e, two per day.  I had two more waiting for me this evening.  One usually in the morning and another in the afternoon.  I googled for the number hoping to see who it was and am impressed to find it being discussed here.  The calls s****ed here about Nov 17.  I suppose I can try calling some of the numbers here but it doesn't sound like anyone really knows WHY they are calling me or how much good if any it will do to **** on the phone waiting to chew someone out.

I think these people are phishers of some sort.  They certainly are persistent.

I talked to Arnold ******* at this number and he informed me that the ONLY way for my to resolve this isue would be for me to pay off some other person's debts.I agreed and told him to meet me outside the offices of the West Bank of the Mississippi, and I would pay him off with a check signed by Mr. U.R. *****ed.He didn't seem to want to meet with me, face to face.

It's been a week and the annoying, costly calls from this number have stopped since I complained to them. This number is indeed tied to this Nat'l Enterprise collections company but their business practices deserve to be ratted out on as they seem to be disturbing people without checking to make sure the number they're calling is *CURRENTLY* attached to the debtor's name they've been given. They ***g on their website about their techno-innovations and efficiency, etc., but if I were a creditor, I would use another collections company as this one is sure to have a boatload of complaints to the Ohio BBB and other appropriate authorities concerning their harassment of innocent people who have nothing to do with the creditor.

I have received dozens of calls telling me to call 800-236-3796 and that a Michael Green wants to speak to me about a business deal.  I finally called and let the phone ring for about 20 rings.  It was answered and I told him to take my number off his list.  He then s****ed asking for my name.  I said I was on the "no call list" and my name is none of his business since I was not who he was asking for.  The guy s****s yelling and swearing at me.  BEWARE.  THESE CALLERS MAY BE TRYING TO GET A NAME ATTACHED TO A CELL PHONE NUMBER AND ADDRESSES FOR IDEN***Y THIEFT.  I would not give them any information.  I will be reporting these calls- I am not sure yet where.  The no call list site complaint page seems to be not functioning.

I have a pay-as-you-use phone and an automated voice has been calling me for 3 weeks, almost daily, sometimes twice a day or leaving voice messages which all cost me units. I wasn't too happy and called today and a phone rang and rang, finally got a live guy and he said the number belonged to so-and-so, no one I know, that's for sure! Then the phone went dead so either he ***g up or it was our connection. I did have time to demand they stop calling as I am not the person he named so we shall see if they call a***n. I am interested in knowing if JOSH has had anymore calls since he spoke with this company. They are a pain in the head and I am not even a debtor.

If ***ody picks up enter ext. 2102 after about the third time somebody answered and this was a few minutes ago. After chewing that operator a new one they transferred me to compliance a woman named Gretta who also recieved an ear full, after giving her my number they told me who they were looking for which was not me and said they would not call back. We shall see.

I am receiving calls daily to call this number.  I try to return the call and a recording answers and tells me to hold or press 0 I have tried both and the phone just rings.  I have let it ring at least 25 times. There apparently is so****ing wrong with their phone line.
